Nestled in the heart of the Pentland Hills, this traditional stone shepherd's cottage on a working hill farm looks out over scenic Baddinsgill Reservoir. Fully renovated to a high standard in 2022, the cottage is the perfect base for those who wish to get off the beaten track. Explore the surrounding hills and woodlands by day, then curl up by the cosy woodburner in the evening. Edinburgh is just 40 minutes by car, but feels a world away in this peaceful rural retreat.

The space
Hareshaw Cottage is situated on a private farm road surrounded by hills and farmland. Guests are free to explore the farm.

There are two bedrooms - a king and a twin room; a shower room with large walk-in shower; a kitchen with electric oven, hob, microwave and dishwasher; and open plan sitting room/dining room with corner sofa, wood burning stove and TV.

There is ample private parking, along with several outbuildings where bikes can be stored.

Travel cot, high chair and baby bath are available on request.

The cottage was fully renovated to a high standard in 2022. There is a sizeable garden and a spacious deck with seating area where you can enjoy beautiful views of the hills and loch.
