Honeysuckle is a static caravan on our family owned and run campsite on the North Devon coast situated in the coastal village of Hartland. Honeysuckle is like your best friend! Perhaps getting older on the outside but beautiful on the inside. We have completely gutted her throughout and rebuilt her in the style of a shepherds hut providing spacious, light and welcoming accommodation with your own private fenced garden from where you can walk to the village for a meal, pint or G & T.
The space
Honeysuckle is light and airy and is a great base from where to explore the surrounding area. We are only 25 from Bude in Cornwall and closer to home boast a stunning coastline brimming with beaches and bays. With two small bedrooms both with crisp white bed linen and fluffy white towels, a shower room with w/c and sink, a generous lounge with corner sofa, modern lighting, TV, dvd player, electric wood burner, games, books and plenty of local information, a beautiful galley kitchen with shaker style grey units with all essentials including all pots, pans, cutlery and crockery. Outside you have your own private fully enclosed garden as well as parking for up to two cars. Onsite we have a laundry block with washing machine and tumble dryer and an on-site well stocked pond where you are welcome to have a go at fishing. We have a field dedicated to walking your dog or for playing outside games such as football or rounders. Our site is well suited to those looking to walk the south west coast path or visit bays and beaches and use Honeysuckle as a great base to explore the area. We do not have a clubhouse or play area as we are situated just a 3 minute walk from our lovely little coastal village with 3 pubs, a coffee shop, post office, grocery store, 3 local artists studios and a stunning pottery.
Guest access
We run self check in at Honeysuckle so once you book you will be sent detailed information for your arrival and departure as well as lots of local information to help you plan your visit.
Other things to note
Honeysuckle is a static caravan with a flat, rather than an apex roof. The double bedroom has a small double bed and the twin bedroom has 2 small single beds.
Honeysuckle is not suited to guests wanting large accommodation with lots of room and space inside. It is cleverly designed to maximise the space in a beautiful yet compact and bijou way. Cute and cosy probably best describes her.
Honeysuckle is a static caravan and not a house or cottage and has been designed to offer comfort when exploring the area and in the true meaning of a static caravan they were introduced as an alternative to putting up a tent or bringing a caravan or motorhome to a campsite.
Hopefully you will enjoy the comfortable, cosiness and attention to detail inside as well as your own private garden and parking outside for up to 2 vehicles outside.
Our site does not have a club house or play area as our guests generally enjoy the outdoors or walking into our lovely little coastal village.
