A perfect Log Cabin set in gardens next to the woods, Wood lodge has direct access to the 180 mile Tarka Cycle Trail, with storage for bikes if you are feeling energetic, or a 6 Person Hot tub and all-weather BBQ for when you want to relax.
5 Minutes from Bideford with great access, yet in beautiful woodland, the Lodge has everything you need to get away from it all, yet still go places and see North Devon.

The space
Wood Lodge is a sustainably built Wooden Lodge with modern heat-pump heating and a wood burner, along with a modern kitchen, dining room, lounge and new bathrooms and furnishings.
The lodge consists of 3 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, a lounge, conservatory, kitchen, utility room & adjoined dining room, all in an open garden setting with large windows and outlooks over the valley below through the woodlands.
The kitchen in well equipped with everything you need for a break away including a large induction hob, oven, microwave, coffee machine and all the comforts of home, along with a utility room containing a large fridge freezer, washing machine and tumble dryer for those muddier days!
You have the entire space to yourself, with dog-proof (and child proof!) fencing around the gardens with a hot-tub, childrens play equipment, BBQ and cycle storage.
EV Car charging is also available on our mini solar array which is in a locked car-park next to the property.
Guest access
Wood Lodge is set in its own private garden in the hamlet of Landcross. Hidden in the North Devon Countryside, yet only 2 miles from the nearest town (Bideford) with private access from dedicated car parking adjacent to the A386, giving you a short hop Westward Ho! beach (4 miles) Instow Beach (4 miles) and further afield for Barnstaple, Clovelly, Torrington or Dartmoor (which you can even get to by bicycle along the Tarka Trail.)
Entering through the back gate you have paved access to the lodge, the Hot-Tub, BBQ area, gardens and bicycle storage.
The covered bbq area has a gas and lava-stone bbq with seating and storage for bicycles just for your use.
The garden has a range of furniture and childrens play equipment with outbuildings to store furniture and cushions.
A private 6 person hot tub completes the picture with a short step across the decking to slip inside to warm up by the wood burner.
Other things to note
Please note that there is an additional charge to run the Hot Tub of £10 per day to cover the increase in electricity prices.
Please let us know when booking and we will ensure that the Tub is clean and up to temperature when you arrive.
