Small old-fashioned cottage, on the heath in Verdal. Steep slope up, you should have a 4x4 car, there is a road up in autumn, spring and summer. Not winter. In the middle of nature, snowmobile track and ski terrain. If you want to have a few days in the mountains, and go hiking, this is a unique opportunity. Very simple and old, but also very cozy. Outdoor toilet, no running water, no electricity, no refrigerator and gas for heating food! Small generator. We keep firewood for heating. High mountains not far away. Great hiking opportunities! Glampingen and Glosteikbua at Tingvatn Farm.

Take a short break and enjoy the nature in this beautiful place. Right next to the tent, there is an atmospheric cabin with a fridge, freezer and a small kitchen counter that you have access to. There are two double beds, so if you want to bring some friends on the trip, these can be rented for an additional fee. If you have children, it is also possible to have an extra mattress in the tent. Access to a private toilet/shower. The glamping site is located on Tingvatn farm, right by the Lygne water. There is a jetty and great swimming opportunities.

To National Trout Centre-Kvåsfossen: 5 km, 5 min drive by car. The zoo in Kristiansand is less than 1 hour and 24 minutes away - perfect for family outings. With just a 20-minute drive to Lyngdal and Sørlandsbadet, you've got everything within easy reach. There are good fishing opportunities in the river in the area, with a valid fishing license.

Hønsehus Nedre Snartemo Farm

You will spend the night in the immediate vicinity of Snartemobekken which is a tributary of the river Lygna where the salmon play. Nedre Snartemo is an old farm with a barn that is under restoration. On the farm there are traces of settlement from the pre-Roman Iron Age and all the way to our time. The famous Snartemo sword was found just 200 meters away - in other words, you live in the middle of history.
