This condo is very quiet, overlooking the golf course and ocean. Nice sunsets. We really enjoyed the golfing (reasonable rate with the member's pass), and pickleball/tennis is very close ...beside the pool. Close by is a gym - which had a big workout area and daily cardo classes. Also - a very good grocery store nearby. The condo was well set-up for the two of us. particularly helpful were the beach chairs, umbrellas, etc. We spent many afternoons visiting different beaches along the Waikoloa coast. Some were a few miles away, others about 15 min drive. The guidebook in the condo was very helpful.

Chris is an amazing host and is very clear in his communication. House was exactly as described. Very clean and well maintained. Kitchen was stuffed with a lot of condiments and a lot of attention to details. Yard had many fruit bearing trees. A quick drive to nice beaches, restaurants, grocery stores etc. All in all we were very satisfied.

We enjoyed our stay. Close to downtown. Would rent again.

we spent a week in Matthew's place and would be happy to come back on a future trip. The house is large and full of good stuff - games, kitchen stuff, and more. The immediate surroundings are beautiful as is the view from the porch. Matthew is extremelya helpful and thoughtful. He really cared that we will enjoy our stay. Indeed a five star host. Ocean view is about 90 mins from Kona airport. I suggest not arriving at dark the first time - the area is dark and following the maps app we entered one driveway too early - backing up at darkness was scary. Make sure to follow Matthew's instructions and not just the app. The driveway to the house is not fully paved. However, after you see the way once at daylight it becomes easier. overall, we could use the place as a most comfortable place from which we could reach volcano national park several times and many beaches. it was good to be back to a cosy place at night. We would be happy to do this again!

The only place we stay on the Big Island! Perfect location in the center of everything and within walking distance of the beach,shops, and restaurants. The house is immaculate with every amenity we needed for our 2 week stay. Allison is the best host we have had in our various AirBnB stays. She is friendly, proactive and helpful. Excited for our next trip to her place!

This stay was pure perfection. Waking up each morning just steps away from the ocean, with cruise ships gliding in against the sunrise, felt like living in a postcard. The home itself was pristine, stylish, and clearly curated for guests who appreciate comfort and beauty. Every touch from the well stocked kitchen to the cozy lanai for morning coffee- made the experience feel first-class. The host was outstanding: responsive, without being intrusive, making the entire trip seamless. If you're dreaming of an unforgettable Hawaiian getaway, this is the place. We had a great stay at Jacob's place in February. The place is clean, comfortable, quiet, has everything we could need, and killer sunset views! Parking is close and convenient. Note that there is a steep 16-step staircase to get down to the unit. Not a problem for our group, but worth knowing in case it could be an issue for you. We had a great time snorkeling, hiking, swimming with manta rays, and whale watching. The only thing we didn't get to see was an eruption. Missed it by a couple days. Thanks for a great stay!

Seriously paradise. It met all my desires for a beach vacation: It is right across the street from Magic sands beach - the condo is set back, so about a 4 minute walk. I think it is the only sandy beach in the area. A 3 minute drive to amazing snorkeling in a protected bay/ cove. A 10 minute drive to great shops and restaurants. You have your own parking spot. Re: the condo- Quiet, and I am a light sleeper. Chorus of birds in the trees on the property begins at dawn. They are the alarm clock I've always wanted. They get more quiet after the initial greeting of the day. The apartment has all the amenities, including good kitchen knives for cooking, pots and pans in good shape, olive oil, pls more. All the beach gear and snorkeling gear you could want. You have a partial ocean view from the lanai, it is really nice to sit out at the table and eat while gazing at the water and hills. Do be safe at this beach - big waves break right on sand - just use common sense and you will be fine.
