Melissa's property was exactly what we needed - super peaceful, clean, and cozy. Everything was exactly as described, and we had a very comfortable stay in the house. The property and lake were beautiful, and we had a great time! Melissa is a great host, super responsive, and very helpful with details for the house like getting our trash to the dump and recommending local spots.

We had the most incredible stay at The Majestic Moose—it’s hard to overstate just how beautiful this property is! The location is stunning, nestled by a private beach with a serene forest backdrop, offering breathtaking views in every direction. The cottage itself is luxurious beyond belief. From the beautifully designed interiors to the high-end finishes in the bedrooms and bathrooms, it felt like staying in a 5-star resort. The attention to detail is remarkable; everything is thoughtfully designed to cater to any fantasy or need. We couldn’t even make full use of all the abundant amenities! The kids were absolutely overjoyed—this place is a perfect family vacation spot. Cleanliness was absolutely top-notch, and Neal & Candice, the hosts, were fantastic. They were so responsive and went above and beyond, even tailoring the amenities to suit our family’s needs. We cannot thank you enough for providing such an unforgettable experience. We are already looking forward to our next stay!

I was looking for a quiet and cozy place to escape to for a few days in middle of the winter where I could sit by a fire, write and relax. Stephen’s cottage went beyond what is listed. The decor and details are part of the charm. The place is a gem from top to bottom. Clean, well stocked and updated with many thoughtful experiences from family games and videos that would make BlockBuster proud. Older generations would understand. Stephen was always very prompt answering any questions before my stay and while I was there. He is a gracious host and it shows with everything that he has thoughtful included in the rental of this amazing four season cottage. We look forward to our next visit.

We had a great time. Sir Sam’s ski hill nearby. Hot tub was great for those days when ski hill was not an option. There is fast internet at the cottage. Very private and quiet. We enjoyed our stay.

We loved this cottage and this is our second visit this time of the year. There is beautiful large table to serve meals, spacious kitchen with plenty of storage place and 2 fridges. Cozy atmosphere with a wood burning fireplace and an additional playroom/ family room. There is plenty of outdoor activities including walking, skiing (Sir Sam’s is nearby), cross country skiing or skating. We really enjoyed our stay and highly recommend it.

I spent another wonderful weekend at Mathew’s cabin! My dogs absolutely love it there! The cabin is cozy, very well insulated, and quite spacious! Can’t wait to go back!

We came for a quiet retreat from our busy lives and got exactly that! The surrounding forest and snow and hot tub and sauna and fireplace were our staples for the 4 days 😊 The actual accommodations were very clean and spacious (we were 2 families with 7 people altogether and 2 small dogs). The loft was fantastic! David was very accommodating and quick to respond, the instructions and house rules were very clear and detailed. We really enjoyed the privacy of the cottage and proximity to Huntsville and amenities. It was an easy and memorable get away! Thank you so much!
