Just over 15 minutes outside Astrid Lindgren's Vimmerby and about 30 minutes from the coastal town of Västervik, you will find this place with its own garden and beach (shared with the host). The view of the lake creates conditions for wonderful nature experiences - all year round! In winter, lovely fires warm you and in summer, the lake cools you! With a canoe (rented by the host), you can experience Kalmar County's largest lake with only the sound of the paddles heard and have the opportunity to see protected animals, ranging from sea eagles to otters.

Stay in a rural setting in a large house with park-like garden. Suitable for one or more families to stay together (in the same company). 10 beds are included in the basic price - if more are required: ask in booking. Large kitchen with all equipment you could wish for. You have four bedrooms where you can choose how to distribute your number of beds (two downstairs in the file and two separate upstairs). You will have the entire house by yourselves. Located in the area where some of Astrid Lindgren's films were recorded. Welcome with the request!

The house is located in a nice surroundings on a farm with proximity to the forest and lake. The garden is big with plenty of room for play, but also quiet barbecue evenings. The accommodation with 8 beds + 1 (sofa bed) is fully equipped with a newly renovated kitchen, a smaller toilet on the entrance level and a bathroom with shower and toilet on the basement level. Here there is the opportunity for both relaxation and activity. Welcome!

Red Småland cottage, surrounded by quiet meadows and green fields. Only a stone's throw away is Astrid Lindgren's World, where fairy tales and childhood memories live on. Here you can enjoy the tranquility and the wonderful nature. On the farm, we have chickens and sheep that you can meet if you want. In the nature around the cottage, we have most Swedish animal species, moose, deer, roe deer, lynx, but also the sea eagle can be seen scouting for prey on meadows and fields. If you want to fish and swim, there are two lakes within a few kilometers.

Cottage in Djursdala - Bullebo

Stay at a charming little horse farm that offers a unique and scenic environment with its own garden. Located 15 minutes outside Vimmerby and Astrid Lindgren's World. Here is a newly renovated red little cottage with an annex, which together can accommodate up to six people. A short walk leads to a lake perfect for evening swimming, there is also a child-friendly swimming area with diving tower that is about five minutes away by car in Lake Juttern. Outside the junction is the Sevedeleden trail, which takes you to the Djursdalarunda.

Just outside Vimmerby city, you can stay in beautiful Djursdala in the large farmhouse Klocketorp. The village is a rural idyll known for its beautiful nature and is 13 km from Vimmerby. The accommodation can give you the opportunity to experience Astrid Lindgren's World and the places around it that are described in the author's books. Djursdala with its rolling hills, the hiking trail Djursdalarundan and the popular restaurant Musteriet is in itself a lovely place to enjoy. The 170 sqm house is perfect for a larger group.

Here you live with nature close at hand, surrounded by oak groves, meadows and 19th-century buildings - 25 minutes from Vimmerby and Astrid Lindgren's World. The magical Norra Kvill National Park, with great hiking opportunities, is 5 minutes from the house. A short walk from the house stands the 1000-year-old Kvilleken, and below the hill you will find a lovely little swimming lake.

In 2020, we renovated the kitchen, entrance hall and laundry room and also built a brand new bathroom on the ground floor. There is proximity to the lake with boat and swimming. Warm welcome!
