Extra mattresses can be rented. Location: On Ridabu by Vang church. It is just under 3 km to Hamar city center. For example, the Viking Ship is a 20 min walk and 4 min by car. The old summer barn of Hovelsrud Gård is idyllically located between Mjøsa and a rolling cornfield – a simple and unique place for those who want to get close to nature and enjoy the tranquillity of Helgøya. The house is best suited for a couple or a small family with up to two children. Inside, there is a bedroom and an open-plan living room. Outside there is a kitchen counter, with a gas burner and barbecue, a small beach with swimming opportunities and an outdoor toilet. There is no electricity.

Our garden house has a plain Norwegian cabin standard with everything you need for making simple meals. Some basic food supplies will be available. As we have no running water in the garden house, we have placed a water dispenser in the kitchen area. Your bathroom, with floor heating and shower, is situated right next door, in the main house. The garden house has its own terrace, with access to the garden.
