It is Just a few minutes from Global Wildlife Center, one of the largest totally free- roaming reserves of its kind in the country. On eight partially wooded acres, the home was built in the early 1970's on land that was part of a Spanish land grant to the Core family in the early 1800's. Enjoy nature with a walk along the trail from house to river. This building has been built with mostly reclaimed, reused and upcycled materials. The rustic interior walls are clad in huge boards milled on the property after Katrina damage. Note the unusual shower with handmade tiles. There are other unique structures on property.
