Please note: we are not located in or near Bar Harbor. We are not oceanside. There is no electricity, heat or AC in the tent. No pets are allowed. We are happy to host families, including children.

Relax, re-charge and enjoy the peace that comes from spending time near the ocean and under the stars. Our tents have all the comforts of home. Linens, towels, bath products and kitchen supplies. Our family owned glampground is just 4 miles from Acadia N.P. This tent has a full bathroom, two comfy queen beds, a long bunk bed, outfitted kitchenette, kitchen table and outside deck. The home is located in a sunny clearing across the creek from the other homes. It is a short walk from the outhouse and a well where you can fill your water bottles with fresh spring water. There is a bonfire pit with a swivel grill and an outdoor kitchenette with a propane stove, frying pan, kettle and french press.

Long Cove Hideaway

Escape the tourist madness of Bar Harbor at your own private tidal cove. Camp with the comforts of home, water, power and Wifi. Outdoor grill, awning and lobster cooker for the complete Maine experience. After a hard day of hiking relax by fire pit. The Schoodic National Scenic Byway is on the far side of Long Cove, and you can hear some traffic noise from outside the RV, but for complete silence check out my other two places by looking at "about me" on my profile.
