Holiday rentals in Handies Peak

This was the best spot for our visit to the Durango area. We don’t usually spend much time at our Airbnb rentals so having a spot close to the activities we are planning is important. This location was perfect as we were not in the town but somewhat in between the Purgatory ski area and the city. This place had all we needed for our trip and we really enjoyed this location. Easy access for unloading and loading our vehicle and enough storage areas to put all that we brought with us. We would definitely stay here when we return to the Durango area in the future.

If you’re looking for privacy and quiet, it’s perfect. We loved our time there.

One of the prettiest, most serene, quaint and lovely airbnbs I've experienced. You can't beat the surroundings and views. If you love nature and solitude, then this is the spot for you. On top of the pristine mountain and prairie views, the tiny home itself is an absolute gem. It's spacious, spotless, and very well set up. My partner and I never felt crowded. And it has a bidet! We were able to cook in the kitchen, and we slept like babies on the comfy bed surrounded by windows with gorgeous sunrise views. We couldn't have asked for anything more during our stay. I want to say a few words about Alejandro, the host, as well. He's AWESOME! Super kind, top notch host who is always responsive and helpful. And thank you for the laser-printed welcome sign and fresh chicken eggs. I will look for Alejandro's place any time I come through Montrose.

We loved this airbnb stay! It was exactly what we needed – beauty, ease, comfort, and kitchen supplies! while being close to town and the Springs. Thanks so much for opening your home to us and providing such a sweet experience. My daughter loved watching the sunrise and hearing the wild turkeys call. I loved the mountain views and night sky. Thanks again and we'll see you next time!

We stayed here for our Honeymoon and was everything we wanted from Colorado. Did not realize the busiest time of the year was during the hotter months of the year, which was great for us! We basically had all of Ouray to ourselves, snow was perfect timing, the hot tub was private and bed was comfortable. Food was amazing from Montrose to Ouray. Didn't get to hit the offroad trails because of the snow and other unfortunate circumstances, but that just means we get to come back! Can't wait!

This is our second time staying at Tim’s and we absolutely love it! We stay here in the winter and go ice climbing at the amazing ice climbing wall in town. It’s world class destination ice climbing, so this Airbnb is in the most perfect destination location. The house itself is absolutely beautiful with amazing views of the mountains and great sunlight. The kitchen is well stocked and easy to cook big meals. The bedrooms are cozy and warm. And the deck is fantastic for a really taking in the view and there’s a grill for cooking. We are looking forward to going back next winter. Tim is sucha great host!

This place is everything you need for a wonderful stay. The whole place is super clean and so many nice touches to help you enjoy your stay. The bed was awesome and you will have everything you need in the adorable kitchen. Sarah gave great recommendations of places to go also. We will definitely be back!

I couldn’t use my reservation and they let my friend use it instead.

The place was pretty good. Call, quiet, peaceful and clean and just like what you see in photos. Would highly recommend.
