You live in walking distance to the speedboat quay and it takes only 10 min. until you are in the center of Ålesund. Short distance to Langevåg center (5 min.) where you will find Devoldfabriken with outlet shops, café, bakery and artisans. Electric car charging. Proximity to sports facilities and open-air park with hiking trail. And you have Mount Sula not far away with an accrued mountain path and many different hiking destinations. Excellent starting point for day trips in M&R.

Urke in Hjørundfjorden - cabin at the edge of the sea

Urke is a small village and has everything you need; great nature, hiking and swimming opportunities, shop with post and pharmacy, horticulture and own pub/cafe. The nature in the area is amazing. The Sunnmørsalpane encircles the village with majestic Slogen and Saksa which have become really popular after Sherpas from Nepal have made steps up through the ura. In the last few years, Urkeegga has also become a popular hiking destination. The mountains here are equally popular for skiing tourists during the winter as for mountain hikes in the summer.
