“Erik and Lisa’s accommodation was exactly as advertised and met all expectations. It was a lovely, large, clean space with one of the best appointed kitchens I have seen. At the end of a days hiking the hot tub or the chair by the fireplace with the view afforded by each of the setting sun over the mountain range was the perfect end to a day.”

“We had a fantastic stay in Andreas' clean, cozy and comfortable house. The place is perfect as a base camp for hiking or mountain biking trips in the fjäll. Although the nearest sourroundings might look a bit bleak during summer (just the bare ground as the house has been newly built), the view and landscape was fantastic especially during our stay in late September/October. While there wasn't going on too much in Vemdalsskalet during this time of the year, the local ICA-supermarket was well-assorted and open daily; very convenient to have it only a couple of minutes drive away! A café, the tourist info and a sizeable sports shop next to it were open, too. The house itself is very well-equiped and the "cleaning set" provided is a smart and handy detail. The upper floor was perfect for our kids with both the additional TV with DVD player and the nice Brio train set. Parents with smaller children should maybe note that the stairs are pretty long and steep. Although we didn't meet Andreas personally, he was very friendly and swift to answer our messages and we felt very welcome and instantly at home at his place. We will probably return to this place and warmly recommend it to anybody who would like to spend some time in the Swedish fjäll!”
