Welcome to our cottage with its own headland by Lofssjön centrally in Lofsdalen. The cottage has an older, timber-framed section and a newly built section. The cottage is idyllic, situated by a lake with views of the mountains, and, not least, it has a half-timbered wooden roof that gives it the feel of a Viking roof. Inside, you will find everything you need, just like in a modern cottage. The newly built section was constructed in 2021, featuring a new kitchen, bathroom, sauna, hallway and loft; the older, preserved section has two bedrooms and a living room. During the summer, you can borrow our cabin in Lofssjön.

In our cozy cottage, you can enjoy magnificent views of the Lofsfjällen mountains while the fire crackles in the background. The cottage is modern, newly renovated, equipped with dishwasher, washing machine/dryer. There are three bedrooms, a large living room with an open floor plan towards the fully equipped kitchen and two bathrooms, one with a relaxation area. Suitable for larger as well as smaller groups, your four-legged friends are of course welcome! The cottage is directly adjacent to magical cross-country ski trails and hiking trails.

About 1 kilometer to Blästervallen with all possible services needed for the perfect winter vacation. 5 minutes by car from Vemdalen By, which has all the necessary services all year round. With 120 square meters divided into 5 bedrooms and 10 beds, there is room for both smaller and larger groups. A large welcoming hall, a really large living room with a very well-equipped kitchen. The house is easily accessible, from the highway you drive only 1 minute on a gravel road before you arrive at Hilda's Hus. And yet it is very private, surrounded by beautiful nature.

This is the perfect place for nature experience, outdoor life or rest. Perhaps a short drive to Idre during the day for adventure or to Sweden's highest waterfall with fantastic hiking trails in wonderful nature. End the day with an evening dip after the barbecue on the patio.

Scenic and idyllic location in a forest glade where you can hear the Ljusnan river rushing further away. 5-minute walk to one of Sweden's best trout fishing, a little further away, Rånden runs, one of Sweden's best trout waters. To the ski resorts Vemdalen, Björnrike and Lofsdalen, it takes just over 30 minutes by car to go. The area is also popular for snowmobiling. Here you live close to nature with access to a wide range of outdoor activities all year round.
