Welcome to our cottage with its own headland by Lofssjön centrally in Lofsdalen. The cottage has an older, timber-framed section and a newly built section. The cottage is idyllic, situated by a lake with views of the mountains, and, not least, it has a half-timbered wooden roof that gives it the feel of a Viking roof. Inside, you will find everything you need, just like in a modern cottage. The newly built section was constructed in 2021, featuring a new kitchen, bathroom, sauna, hallway and loft; the older, preserved section has two bedrooms and a living room. During the summer, you can borrow our cabin in Lofssjön.

Cabin in Storhogna with Ski in/out

Nice cottage fully equipped including charging box. The cottage has two floors with a built-in garage. The cottage is located about 50 meters from the slope and about 300 meters from the cross-country ski trail. From the cottage, you can easily get via the lift system in Storhogna to the lift system in Klövsjö. The cross-country trails take you either up the mountain or to Vemdalens trail center. You have about 700 meters to Storhogna Högfjällshotell and about 1200 meters to the activity house M from the cottage. Relax with the whole family in this peaceful home.

Our cosy newly built mountain cabin is within walking distance of Klövsjö ski area and is just as suitable for skiing adventures in the winter as mountain trips and swimming in the summer! Enjoy the sauna, fire or sunny terrace after a day on the ski slopes or in the mountains. Klövsjö has been named "Sweden's most beautiful village" and is called "Skiers' ski resort". The same lift card is also valid for Vemdalen's four ski areas with 35 lifts and 58 slopes. Quiet location close to the ski area, restaurants, sports shops and a clear swimming lake with jetties.

You will find this peaceful and delightful mountain cabin in a natural setting, just a few hundred metres from Storhogna's ski lift system and the connecting lift to Klövsjö. Within a five-minute walk, you will find the trail centre, which offers 60 km of cross-country trails. In the summer, you have nature right on your doorstep, with plenty of wonderful hiking and cycling trails! 5 min walking distance to grocery store, restaurant, bowling and ski shop at Storhogna M. 15 min walking distance to Storhogna mountain hotel with luxury spa and two restaurants.

Stay in our mountain paradise in the middle of the ski slope with ski-in ski-out with a mile-wide view of Fulufjället and the Norwegian mountains! The 140 sqm cottage has all the amenities, sauna with a view and wood-fired hot tub (optional). Proximity to hiking trails, Idrefjäll, golf, fishing, MTB, swimming, whitewater rafting, berry picking, etc. Here you will find, among other things, the restaurant Renen & Älgen (with après-ski), ski rental, snowmobile safari, reindeer meeting, dog sledding and lots of other activities in the nearby area.

Here you live in a newly built home with high standards and an unbeatable location – the lift passes just outside the window. In the summer, you will be met by a peaceful, natural landscape with reindeer that wander next to the house. Lots to choose from such as hiking, fishing, berry picking or MTB. Please note that towels and bed linen are not included and that departure cleaning is done by the guest unless otherwise agreed.

You live close to vast wilderness in Grövelsjön and Foskros, three ski resorts and fly fishing in Storån, as well as neighboring Idre Golf. You have a nice forest behind the property with blueberries and mushrooms, a 3.5 km plowed walking path and a cold dip in the river ten minutes walk away. As well as bike paths. We hope you will love our house, and the nature that Idre and its surroundings offer.

Kitchen island and open plan. Downstairs: guest bedroom with double bed, bedroom with five bunk beds. Mini spa with sauna and shower and large toilet with shower. Loft: two separate beds, sofa and TV.

Öppen spis. Fullutrustat kök med diskmaskin. Tvättmaskin. Två dusch/wc. Bastu. Torkskåp. Wifi. Stugan stod klar 2023. Ca 500 m till lift och 300 m till längdspåret "fjället runt".
