We would love to welcome you to our unique John Scott home/apartment (with radiators!). The New Zealand Architect, John Scott, was an eccentric chap and was renowned for designing unique buildings. Our home doesn’t disappoint and we are excited to share it with the air bnb community. A self contained wing of our home is located in a tranquil spot. A five minute drive or a stroll along the lakefront will get you into town. We are a few minutes walk from the Botanical Gardens and the lakefront.

A cute, clean and cosy cottage in a peaceful and secluded native bush setting. Only a 2 minute stroll to the Lake or the beautiful spring fed Waitahanui River, and 10 minutes from the centre of Taupo township. 58 inch LED TV, Blu Ray DVD and movies as well as a heat pump air conditioner and free WiFi. Ideal year-round, it has outdoor areas with BBQ, large windows and a double-sided fireplace. Whakaipo Bay is 5 minutes away for swimming or walking, with plenty of bush tracks nearby. Not suitable for children. Washing machine, hairdryer, toiletries and iron not provided.
