Sophielund is a very large, unique and beautiful country estate, a true home situated in a picturesque, peaceful setting with woodland as a neighbour and close to the Gudenå River. You can walk, hike, run and bike (mountain bike ) and swim. Train station 1 km . Shopping 800 m. Located between Viborg, Aarhus, Silkeborg and Randers. Perfect for a large family or a smaller group (max 8), with space for socialising and activities. Electric vehicle charging is available on Østergade or at the local Brugs (co-op supermarket) – approximately 700 metres from the property.

Right outside the door there are marked hiking trails, and close to MTB tracks as well as riding trails. Possibility of grass paddocks for horses within 1 km. Ørnhøj Golf Club is only 8 km away and 20 km to Rold Skov Golf Club.

The night is dark and quiet and the stars are clear. Terrace on 2 sides of the house, fireplace and plenty of elbow room. 2 km to grocery store, tavern and pizza and 7 km to Udbyhøj with blue flag beach and harbor life. The house is from 2015 and built in larch wood, so there is a nice atmosphere in the house. Here is the basis for a few days of recreation.

There is a short distance to the sea and 10 minutes to delicious beaches in Øster Hurup and 5 minutes to shopping. The house sleeps 8-10 people. The house is equipped with fiber broadband and WiFi that covers the entire 3000 m2 natural plot. In July and August, check-in is on Saturday. There may be some insects at times.
