A beautiful get-away surrounded by nature on a cacao farm! One-bedroom + loft cabin, full kitchen, bathroom, w/d, sunny lanai, on our Big Island off-grid permaculture farm. Cabin is nestled in a food forest a few hundred feet from a stunning waterfall with swimming hole in a peaceful bamboo grove. Coffee Farm Retreat

咖啡庄园 Five acre coffee farm, elevation 1500', about one mile up mountain from Highway 11 south Kona. The road is all weather, paved in some places, a little bumpy, worth the 5 min ride. This is Hawaii farm country, not your suburban street with lights and sidewalks. 100 people will visit, 99 love it, one person will complain about the road. Not for everyone. The best views in Kona, quiet, plenty of room. Out of the way, but not isolated. Two bed rooms and a private loft with views.

The Cottages At Volcano - Hale Alala

Surrounded by the rainforest of Volcano and situated just outside of Hawaii Volcanoes National Park, our cozy cottage offers a welcoming place for some rest and relaxation between adventures. Hale 'Alalā is named after the highly endangered hawaiian crow whose reintroduction efforts have been focused on the forests around Volcano. While there are no longer any Alalā living in the wild, you can see a pair of live Alalā just down the road at the Panaewa Zoo (free admission).
