Holiday rentals with a kayak in Hebrides

We have just arrived home after Staying in fergals beautiful holiday home 21st/28th Dec The house was spotless clean and there was a Christmas tree and decorations all around, a huge bottle of prosecco and some gorgeous biscuits It's such a warm, comfortable house, very peaceful and in a lovely quiet little cul-de-sac, the neighbours were very friendly and helpful too. There is an amazing kitchen with every utensil you could ever think of, 2 beautiful bathrooms, we could not fault anything. If you have children ( we don't) it's perfect, a very safe secure garden and a room off the kitchen with lots and lots of toys and games, A shop that sells everything is a few minutes walk away. There isn't anything to do in the village, but everything is only 30 minutes or less drive away, and omg, there are some absolutely gorgeous places to visit, we looked through all the information left for guests, used our sat nav and was out all day every day We definitely would love to return!!!

Christine was very helpful with lots of information about the local area and how to get to the house, she answered any questions I had promptly. The house is beautiful and the views are amazing, wish I didn't have to leave. we had a very comfortable stay, the house had everything we needed. Bridget and Allen the housekeepers were brillant also. Highly recommend Spindrift.

Extremely grateful to Tim for listing this AirBnB, it was a beautiful location, hot tub by the running stream was a win! Friendly welcoming tour around to let us know what's what. Would highly recommend staying here, and when we visit IOM again, we'll be booking with Tim again. Thank You!

Lovely clean house, spacious for family. Convenient location to beach and walks. Near Cushendall and other tourist areas. Local Coop. Good WiFi and entertainment with large tv downstairs and in main bedroom with Netflix to entertain should need be. Dishwasher, washing machine and dryer if required, pods were provided. Plenty of towels and linen and beds comfortable. Good place for local exploring or weekend stay. We enjoyed the area. Thank you Good secure parking at rear. Easy access into house.

Beautiful quiet setting and base to explore the area. We loved exploring by kayak and being greeted by seals every morning. Simon’s place was super comfortable, clean and well equipped. We’d love to return.

If this place is available I would stay! Such a memorable house with views which make it a joy to spend time in. It feels like a 5 star hotel, beautiful décor and absolutely spotless. The North East coastline is a treat and so many fabulous places to visit. We had a fabulous 4 nights as a family of 5 and didn't want to leave! Wendy and Stuart

We had a lovely stay beautiful setting by the river .The house was warm and cosy on arrival . Hugh was there to meet us with instructions on heating and Anne had left us beautiful homemade brown bread which went down very well with a cuppa after our long journey . It’s only a couple of minutes walking distance from the picturesque Cong village

Highly recommended for small family. Conor is great in host. house was very clean and with all amenities. location is perfect and walking distance from shops, petrol station, town centre. also, town has everything you need. scenic route and nice countryside. a great place to visit every year.

Everything about our stay has been utterly perfect. Having stayed in many Airbnb’s, this is certainly one of the best. All of the little details have been thought through, from the lovely and generous welcome package, to having plenty of logs available for the hot tub and even extra hot tub towels provided. The outside area is so well looked after that we just wanted to stay in the garden. We didn’t feel the need to leave the cottage at all! What made our experience even better was just how lovely, friendly and helpful Amy has been. I think this will be an annual trip for our family. Thanks so much again 😊

What can I say, the best Airbnb we have stayed at to date! This place is perfect, you are in the middle of fields, with lambs everywhere, your own private loch that has kayaks available to use (great fun!), a secure garden to let the dogs roam freely. The house itself is bigger than the images seem, we had plenty of space for four adults, a toddler and three dogs. They provided a cot and high chair which is a great help. There’s a huge boot room which is great to throw off your coat and walking boots, and give the dogs a towel dry after a walk. Beds were perfectly comfortable, a cosy log fire, plenty of hot water in the showers, what more could you ask for! The house felt more like a home than a rental and we are already planning our next trip. The hosts were friendly and available for any questions you may have. My daughter didn’t want to come inside, she was obsessed with the sheep and being in the garden! only issue was signal for the firestick/ phones was poor but not an issue.

This was the most incredibly beautiful property in a stunning location. Pier Cottage is so private and peaceful with views over Loch Striven where you can sit and relax whilst watching the array of wildlife around you or take the kayak out on the loch. The cottage was extremely comfortable and well appointment with everything you would need for you stay. If you are looking for somewhere to unplug from the world and completely relax - this is the ideal place.

A lovely stay in Mairead and Hugh’s beautiful cottage! The house is utterly gorgeous – comfortable beds, a well-stocked kitchen and a lovely, cosy, rustic vibe. The interior decor is stunning with lots of thoughtful touches like the giant claw foot bathtub and the big fluffy pillows. The view from the garden is phenomenal and we spent a lovely evening in the hot tub watching the sun go down! Mairead and Hugh were the perfect hosts – helpful when we needed them but never invasive, and the homemade wheaten bread and jam that was waiting for us was a lovely welcoming touch! All in all a perfect stay and we can’t wait to come back some time.

Nothing short of amazing! A nature lover’s paradise (even with the Scottish weather). Got dry weather for an hour one morning haha so had a lovely breakfast in the garden. Met two tiny (literally newborn) lambs in the field next to us! All wobbly on their feet. So cute!! Friendly hosts, very clean and well decorated.

We had such a lovely time, the property was beautiful and serene. It was in a good vicinity to lots of sites. The chickens were such a laugh and a good source of entertainment! Would definitely go back!

A gorgeous bolt hole for three weeks of blissful walks and peace. The private access to the lake was great for us as swimmers; easy to get home and warm up! I really liked the laundry room after our walks - could was and dry clothes really easily. Comfortable bed, kitchen perfect for self catering and relaxing sofa and tv and bath at the end of the day.

The perfect Highland feeling! We loved the living room with its cozy interior, nice views and great stove to make a fire. A life savior when the weather turns bad. The sauna was great too. It‘s an ideal location to spend a few days at the West Coast. Wonderful trips to Skye, the Applecross peninsula (what a drive!), Ullapool, and Plockton (go and watch the seals). Eilean Donan Castle was nice too. I would highly recommend.

Lovely and relaxing night away in a beautiful and tranquil location. Relaxing in the hot tub with the view of the sunset over the lake was spectacular! Had some issues with getting the hot tub jets to work but Paul responded to our message straight away with instructions on how to fix this.

Absolutely loved our stay here. Pictures do not do this place justice, easily one of the nicest if not the nicest AirBnb I’ve ever stayed in. Great amenities for 4 adults and a big big hot tub! It was so peaceful being able to look out of the windows / decking and watch the wildlife too. Can’t wait to revisit, thankyou!

Wonderful days spent in The Chalet, beautiful and relaxing atmosphere. Everything was good, unless there was not possibility to lock the door (since broken) that was not permitting us to feel totally safe during the night even it Isabelle ensured us this is a safe place, and of course it is. If I could suggest please fix it. The surrond areas are incredible beautiful, I definitely recommend The Chalet 😊

Myself and my family had a wonderful time at Charlottes place. It was in a great location with a lovely view over the lake and the cabin itself was extremely well equipped with everything you would need to enjoy your stay. We enjoyed exploring the area, lots to see and do, Kirkby Lonsdale was our favourite but plenty to come back for. Charlotte was a great host, responding to questions very quickly. We hope to return to this area of the country at some point in the future and would love to stay and Charlottes place.
