The property can also be rented exclusively, with a minimum stay of 3 nights. Somaland Estate offers the perfect stay for the discerning traveller wishing to explore the Central Highlands in style. The property is just a forty drive from Kandy with its famous Temple of the Tooth and Royal Botanical Gardens. A further 15 minute drive east of Kandy lies the award winning Victoria Golf Course. A 1,5 hour journey through vast tea plantations leads to Nuwara Eliya, a favourite retreat of the British during colonial times, earning it the name ‘Little England’.
