If you are looking for a larger shopping center, Gorredijk (known for Rinsma modeplein) Sportstad/Thialf Heerenveen, Drachten, Leeuwarden, and Sneek are also easy to drive to.

Here in the quiet Frisian Rohel, you can really be outside, feel the wind in your hair and the sun on your skin. Cycling and walking along the meadows and (cold) swimming in the Tjeukemeer. Drink a glass of wine on the terrace by the water, with the view of infinity, under the old fruit trees in the garden. Apart from the sounds of birds, the rustling of the wind and in the distance a tractor, you hear nothing at all here. The sunsets can be amazingly beautiful here.

This former garage has been completely transformed into a comfortable and cosy studio. You can enjoy cycling and walking nearby and the Frisian lake area is a 20 minute drive from here. Furthermore, the center of Heerenveen offers plenty of cozy terraces and bars.

Enjoy a trip to Thialf, Belvédère museum or whatever else Friesland has to offer and in the meantime everything on board in this compact but complete studio: a lovely double bed, a furnished kitchenette with fridge, 2 hobs, cooking utensils, cutlery and crockery. Our house is a small but very nice house. From the jetty, you can board the boat and sail towards the Frisian lakes. The house is very quiet and is equipped with every comfort. You can stay comfortably with 4 people at the Wjitteringswei. The beds are wonderful. They are now set up as a double bed but can also be set up as 4 single beds. Wi-Fi is of course also available. And above all, a fantastic view. Check-in from 3 p.m. and check-out until 12 p.m.
