Holiday rentals in Heerenveen

Very nice discovery. Great place to let the children (7 and 11 years old) walk around alone. The accommodation is cozy and very nicely furnished. Kitchen equipped with LV (pellets provided) and Nespresso machine (capsules provided), very nice very bright bathroom, with bath and shower, separate toilet, high ceiling, beautiful space, very bright living room and kitchen, top terrace facing the sunset. A few things to note though: - outdoor garbage cans (paper, plastic and glass) not ideal in winter - No double mattresses and two separate box springs (not practical) with two extra mattresses and individual duvets in the master bedroom while in the children's room the mattresses are placed on a double box spring (queen size) . The box springs seem to be reversed. - No microwave, oven difficult to use and that makes condensation puddles on the floor. - Designer corner couch but not super comfortable - Ideal stove in winter but wet logs

we enjoyed our stay and the holiday home is tip top in order and provided with everything you need and in addition everything is sparkling clean and beautifully located on a lake. Hella is a very friendly hostess and helpful, in the area beautiful forests for hiking and plenty of fantastic cycling routes. In short, good to stay there. Mieke and Wim.

Lovely cottage with a large garden behind it. The center of Heerenveen, where I took a course, was easily walkable (15 minutes). Recommended!

We had a lovely stay in this cottage with lovely garden. We had been outside a lot and the hammock could go outside. Plenty to do in the area both in the direction of Drenthe and in Friesland.

We were very nicely received by our hosts and also in advance the communication was very nice. The cottage is nicely located also on the hosts' property. Still, we had our privacy. The kitchen is equipped with everything you need and it is a very cozy cottage in a quiet location. There are public transport and also the nearest place is about 15 minutes walking distance. We didn't know that King's Day will be celebrated this weekend. But that was great because we just strolled through the place and were right in the middle of it. The cottage has everything you need for a cozy girls weekend and in the evening you could snuggle up in front of the oven. Really recommended, thanks to Jellie and Meindert ;-)

We enjoyed the attractively furnished cottage and the beautiful surroundings. In the cottage there were also all kinds of games, drawing stuff with coloring books for the kids and good books to read. We were able to relax and do nice things nearby. The contact with Nienke was very pleasant, in advance we received a clear description of the cottage and also all kinds of tips to do nearby. Nice to see how they built this cottage themselves and were able to make it such a cozy place!

It was all great! The place is a little gem and everything was super clean. The two are super nice and we felt very comfortable right away. If you're looking for peace and togetherness, this is the place to be. The place is nice and there's a lot to discover in the area.

It’s a perfect get away location. No noice, no public, no tv or neighbors. You ll stay in the middle of the fields, surrounded by birds, farms and fresh air.
