Beautiful barn in rural idyll with hot tub

Upper Stables is a romantic hideaway nestled in the private countryside of Carclew on the outskirts of Mylor, in easy reach of creeks, beaches and Falmouth. The stables have been lovingly refurbished and boast wood fired hot tub, beams, woodburner, luxurious bathroom - roll top bath and rain shower and a large well equipped kitchen. There are many lovely spots to enjoy; meadow for sundowners, private 1 mile walk - perfect for dog owners, fenced garden with barbecue and fire pit for star gazing.

Hatherley is a light-filled Edwardian cottage in a pretty village on the edge of the glorious sheltered coves of the Helford river, 15 mins walk to a sandy beach and moments from fabulous Falmouth and Cornwall’s best tropical gardens. Built for a ship’s captain away at sea it has big bay windows in the living room and kitchen. Rumour has it the builders only showed him pictures of the front, because the back... isn’t quite there! It is a quirky tardis with no straight lines. You’ll love it!

There has been a mill on this site since 1298 and in 2019 we completely refurbished the current 18th century milll to a very high standard to ensure a truly comfortable and magical getaway. The mill lies in a designated Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty in Daphne du Maurier country, on the Fowey estuary.
