How do I report discrimination to Airbnb?
- Airbnb’s Nondiscrimination Policy was created to encourage respect and inclusion in our community, and we take reports of discrimination very seriously. To report content from Airbnb profiles or listings that you believe violates our Nondiscrimination Policy, click or tap the Report this listing icon in the Airbnb app.
- To report a message exchange with another user on our website or within the app, click or tap the more icon , then select Report this message.
- To report an in-person or off-platform incident, or to send a detailed report, contact us. If you experience discrimination during a trip and feel unsafe or require urgent assistance, you can contact the 24-hour safety line for support. Please provide specific details and identify the person you believe has violated the Nondiscrimination Policy.
Note: In an emergency, or if your personal safety is threatened, contact local police or emergency services immediately.
What we do with reports
- Our community support team investigates reports and may follow up for additional documentation and information. If needed, we’ll also offer personalized, hands-on booking support to find you a different place to stay.
- If a user violates our Nondiscrimination Policy, we will enforce accordingly. This can include things like warnings, suspension, and account removal.
