Publish your home listing

Congrats! You’ve crafted an attractive home listing and you’re ready to make your listing public in search results and on your profile.

If you’re not quite ready for any enquiries or requests, that’s ok – you can update your listing status until you’re ready to host.

Activating your home listing

Activate your home listing on desktop

  1. Click Listings and select the listing you want to edit
  2. Under Listing editor, click Edit preferences
  3. Click Listing status
  4. Click Listed and then click List your place

Unlist or remove your home listing

If you want to stop receiving new reservations and remove your listing from search results, you have options.

Activate your home listing as a co-host

Listings can be activated from a primary host or co-host with full access. Co-host permissions only determine what co-hosts can access on your listing on Airbnb, so you’ll still want to set expectations about how they can help with your place.

How long it takes new home listings to appear in search results

Once you change your status to Listed, it’s usually visible within 24 hours, but it may take up to 72 hours for this update to be reflected in search results.
