Holiday rentals with a fire pit in Hemsedal

Eli’s place was magical. It sat on a hill overlooking a beautiful lake with a magnificent mountain in the background. It felt like staying in a part of her family’s history. The original home was built in 1840 but her and her family completely renovated the cabin while still keeping the integrity of the space. It was extremely cozy, clean, and charming. Eli was a perfect host - she was warm, welcoming, and made us feel right at home! She had great recommendations for a local farm, as well as nearby alpine ski places. Our only regret is that we couldn’t stay longer but we definitely plan on coming back!! Thank you so much, Eli!

Wir haben uns in dem wunderschönen und gemütlichen Haus sehr wohl gefühlt! Die Ausstattung der Küche war super! Wir kommen bestimmt sehr gerne wieder!

Absolutt alt var helt topp. Lillian svarte raskt når vi trengte hjelp. Hytta var så utrolig fin og innredet med alt en har behov for. Mye finere enn hva bildene viser. Naturen omringer hytta og ingen andre lyder enn naturens egne….Magisk!!

Our stay here was incredible. We booked for 4 people but this place could easily accommodate 8. The place was clean and tidy and offered everything we needed and more, with beautiful surroundings and a private and authentic feel. Things like extra towels, a pantry with some basic items like rice and pasta, food in the freezer and an easy to use washing machine and dryer really made us feel well looked after. We stayed when temperatures were between -10 and -18 Celsius but the house always felt cosy. The nearest Ski bus stop is a 7-10 minute walk away and the nearest supermarket and ‘town’ area are a 25 minute walk away. If you enjoy walking then the location is fine but we opted to hire a car from the airport to use for our transfers which I would highly recommend. This made collecting ski hire, shopping and travelling to the different slopes much easier as there is lots of parking areas. 10/10 stay. I have already recommended to friends and family.

Fin beliggenhet, god plass og generelt mye verdi for pengene. Vi kan trygt anbefale å leie av Jan. Vi kommer gjerne igjen!

Perfekt sted for oss som hadde en liten familiesamling. En fredelig plass noen steinkast unna Ulsåk med butikker o.a.. Kjempekoselig atmosfære. Rent og pent. Stor solrik terrasse. Meget hyggelig og responsiv vert. Alt var enkelt. Anbefales på det sterkeste.

Wonderful place to stay. Nice and cosy farmhouse from 19th century, I guess, but renovated with a lot of love. Modern clean and warm bath. There´s even with a old painted door. Everything is beautifully arranged. Parking right in front of the door. Toril lives next door and is a very helpful host. Beautifully located between the lake and the montains, very scenic view. I was there in Winter with two colleagues for ski-touring, but I will return with the family.

Beautiful and very spacious cabin, in a perfect location close to Hemsedal ski centre. Lovely and cosy place to relax in after a day of skiing. Responsive and helpful host.

Super beliggenhet rett med gåavstand til bakken. Romslig leilighet med god plass til 6 stk. Meget god standard og veldig trivelig innredet😊

Vi hadde et ordentlig fint opphold , og fikk alltid svar umiddelbart når vi hadde spørsmål. Veldig god service! Vi kommer gjerne tilbake!

Martin var veldig behjelpelige og tilgjengelig gjennom oppholdet! Flott leilighet med veldig bra beliggenhet for en skihelg i Hemsedal.

Wir haben uns in diesem Apartment sehr wohlgefühlt. Es ist super ausgestattet und der Blick über die Skipisten ins Tal ist einmalig. Die Lage direkt an der Skipiste ist kaum zu übertreffen und die Garage ist perfekt für die Aufbewahrung der Skier.

We are a family of 10 who stayed at this cabin and it was extremely comfortable. The layout of the house was nice with plenty of room for gathering in the kitchen and living room (the recliner is so comfortable, I'm going to buy myself one just like it!) as well as comfortable bedrooms. Cooking in the kitchen was no problem as it was well stocked with everything we needed (pots/pans etc). Location was perfect for being in the countryside, but it was close enough to grocery stores, train station, and the city center of Geilo that there was no problem traveling there and back multiple times (a day trip on the train to Flam is doable and beautiful, I highly recommend it). It was so close to the Ruperandan and easy to access. This is a highlight of the property! Ski in/out from your front door in the winter time! Terje was an excellent host and always communicated thoroughly and in a speedy manner.

Vi hadde et nydelig opphold på hytten. Utsikten var fantastisk og vi satt også stor pris på at det var veldig rent og ryddig på hytten. Det var lett å kommunisere med verten og både innsjekk og utsjekk gikk knirkefritt. Toppscore fra oss.

Don’t look any further! This place has it all: stunning views, incredible nature, total comfort, and convenient location, all wrapped up in hytte hygge. Kristin was impressively prompt and helpful, and everything was better than advertised. A steal for the price (but please don’t change the price)! We will be back.

Wir waren zum Langlauf gekommen und haben es sehr genossen, auf dem Hügel in diese gemütliche heimzukehren und uns an dem weiten Blick über das Tal und die Berge gegenüber zu erfreuen. Die Küche war perfekt ausgestattet, um zu kochen und Petter stets hilfsbereit bei allen Fragen. Mehrere Tage sind wir einfach direkt von der Hütte mit unseren Skiern losgelaufen zur Loipe und am Neujahrsabend haben wir das erste Mal Aurora gesehen. Es war unglaublich intensiv! Die Hütte ist einfach wunderbar! Danke, Petter, dass wir solch schöne Tage dort erleben durften! Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder.

The cabin and its location were fantastic! We felt right at home, surrounded by the nature. The skiing tracks are just right outside at the cabin. Kaja was very helpful. The cabin was cozy. We had a wonderful weekend gate away. Recommend for any couples who want to experience and relax in the remoted winter wonderland.

Min familie på 7 med stort og smått har hatt et fantastisk opphold i den flotte hytta med utrolig vakte omgivelser 🤩 hytta var koselig innredet, romslig og praktisk. Kenneth var utrolig hyggelig og hjelpsom vert som gav det lille ekstra👌 været var helt fantastisk med skyfri himmel og sol, skisporene var litt glisne men vi hadde to fine turer allikevel og det var kjempefint og nyte uteområdet og den spektakulære utsikten 👌Vi var tilogmed så heldige å få oppleve nordlys fra terrassen🥳 I det store og det hele vil vi gi terningkast 6 og ønsker gjerne å komme tilbake på et senere tidspunkt😊

This place is an absolute pearl- beautifully decorated and with breathtaking views. We stayed with our 4 children in Espen's beautiful cabin and had a wonderful time going for hikes and playing board games. The atmosphere is peaceful, spotless clean and comfortable. 5 star place! We are excited to visit this wonderful place again soon!
