Welcome to a unique accommodation in a peaceful environment with a lake view just outside Växjö. Stay on the floating house a stone's throw out in the shallow Tävelsåssjön lake. Lovely in both summer and winter. Enjoy the sunset over the lake. Open the doors to the water as soon as you wake up. Why not take both an evening and a morning dip after the sauna? Options such as pizza, breakfast, sauna and pool are available on request. If you would like to order Neapolitan pizza straight from the pizza oven, please let us know a few days before your arrival.

Cottage Uddebo, private beach and garden

Uddebo is located right by Rosjön and only 10 km north of the beautiful wooden town of Eksjö. The house is located on a headland out in the lake and has a unique lake location with lake views from all parts of the house. From the living room and bedroom, you can access a wooden deck with stairs down to the garden and jetty. It is a scenic and undisturbed location with houses nearby but not exactly next door. The proximity to national road 32 makes it easy to get here. The road can be heard, but for the vast majority it is not perceived as disturbing.

Cottage with 2 rooms and kitchen from the 19th century, newly renovated in old style with new kitchen with dishwasher and fully tiled bathroom with shower, sink and toilet. Hot water. The cottage is located on a hill with lake views from the porch and the two rooms. The veranda has morning sun and the patio has afternoon and evening sun. Barbecue. The living room has fireplace. Wood-fired sauna by the lake can be rented, as well as a rowing boat. Opportunity for hiking, fishing, berry and mushroom picking. Beautiful old cultural landscape.

Our little cabin by the lake

At the homestead called Hamborg, grandfather's old cottage stands in a beautiful, secluded meadow by Lake Örken. It offers a simple but close to nature accommodation close to the lake, swimming and fishing. Here you can experience total peace and silence far from neighbours. A canoe is available to borrow and a short walk through the forest there is a nice swimming area with a small sandy beach. The cottage has a small wood-burning stove with a cooktop for simple meals, as well as a gas burner.

Huset inbjuder till tysta och vilsamma stunder eller till gemensam matlagning vid spisen men även till att insupa en god bok i någon av de sköna fåtöljerna eller varför inte få till en härlig brasa i kaminen under höst och vinter. By car you can reach Astrid Lindgren's World in 10 minutes and within walking distance of 1km is the popular Tobo Golf Club with food service. Private beach with grass 50 meters from the house and shallow sandy beach 1 km away. Discover the lovely viewpoint next to the knot, take a jog on the running track or a swim in the lake. This is the place to relax after an intense day with all the lovely characters at Pippiland.

The cottage is perfect for those seeking a quiet seaside location with wonderful archipelago and nature to explore. The idyllic Revsudden is 10 minutes by car, Kalmar (Sweden Summer City 2015 and 2016) 15 minutes and Öland 25 minutes. Boat with electric outboard motor (0,5 HP) and oars included april-october.
