This private self catering cottage is newly renovated and tastefully furnished, it has a lovely sun downer deck with BBQ/Braai facilities. ....overlooking fields of ostriches and mountains in the distance. There is a hammock in the private garden for you to hang out in. The double bed has an electric blanket for winter evenings (June-Sept). The TV lounge has a sofa bed . It is on the eastern side of the Goukou River(5 minutes from the river) and about 15 minutes walk from Lappiesbaai(blue flag beach). You can enjoy beautiful sunsets over the river from your deck. My place is in the picturesque village of Vleesbaai about 20 minutes drive from Mossel Bay and an hour from George airport. The cottage lies above the rocks with an uninterrupted view of the whole beach and bay. It's good for couples and solo adventurers. The flat is self-contained with its own locking doors. Fram the house there is a 300m footpath to the beach. There is one grocery shop in town and a cafe about 2km away. Afrikaans and English are spoken here.

Two minute walk to restaurant, tearoom and pub. 15 minute walk to swimming beach and river mouth. Five minutes drive to skiing slipway and 15 minutes to new harbour and shops. Enjoy rowing the canoe or kayak at high tide right from the garden steps.
