The perfect place for exploring the north of Shetland mainland and the outlying islands. This is a elegant retreat on two levels including a large kitchen/dining room, downstairs bathroom and upstairs bedrooms and living area. For families there are child locks, stair gates, cot and high chair available upon request. Part of the downstairs is locked off for work space and will be in use through the day. There are two entrances so your stay will remain private. The View is on a small estate

The Waddle is a traditional Shetland croft house, refurbished to offer a homely and comfortable stay for guests. Situated in a peaceful, quiet, remote location just over a mile from the nearby village of Walls, tucked in under the hill overlooking a sea-loch, it's a perfect place to enjoy Shetlands wildlife, scenery, peace and freedom. The Waddle is situated on an active croft. We have approximately 250 sheep with lambing in the spring, silage baling in the summer and feeding in the winter.

Jeannette loved Shetland and the restoration and refurbishment of the then-derelict Weaving Shed was carried out in her memory by the current owner, her partner Geoff. Traditional cottage in a rural setting with beautiful scenic views of Sullom voe and the oil terminal. 10 minutes from Brae with local shops, pubs and restaurants. It is 30 minutes to Lerwick the main town in Shetland. Living room is a cosy room with free view tv. Kitchen is fully equipped with all you will need. Bedrooms are both upstairs, one room has a double bed and another one has 2 singles. Washing machine, tumble dryer and freezer all in the porch.

Situated on the west side of Yell, the house overlooks the sea and enjoys spectacular sunsets out each window.
