Skipperhuset

🏡 Skipperhuset is the oldest house on our family farm Birkenes located in Farsund municipality. The Skipper House was built in the 19th century and has been rehabilitated several times, most recently in the spring of 2021. In collaboration with a local painting company, we are working to make the house as authentic as possible, including wallpapering the living room, kitchen and hallway with skipper house wallpaper and linseed oil paint to preserve wood, etc. The Skipperhuset has a natural place on the farm and is located wall to wall with the brewery house which has a renovated baker's oven.

You will have access to the entire main floor. The main floor, on the 2nd floor, contains a living room, kitchen, hallway, 3 bedrooms, bathroom and a small toilet. The house is very cosy and overlooks the beautiful village of Rasvåg and the sea. There is a very well-equipped outdoor area with several terraces and gardens, as well as fruit trees behind the house. There is a trampoline and a monkey bar.

With the possibility of renting a boat in the boathouse in the garden (20 ft and 60 hp trailer) with access to a slipway, kayak and paddle board. Perfect for summer activities. At the boathouse there is a jetty with a bathing ladder. The house has two bedrooms. Double bed in one and double bed with bunk in the other. The property is located 4 km from the center of Lyngdal. 3 km from Sørlandsbadet. 8 km from Handelsparken.

Cozy, small house in the middle of Hollenderbyen. Here you have the whole house to yourself, with a nice backyard and evening sun. Walking distance to shops, restaurants, beach, museum and hiking areas. Living room and kitchen on the 1st floor, exit to the backyard from the kitchen. 2nd floor has 2 bedrooms, bathroom and a small balcony. Beds cannot be shared. There is no parking by the house, but a parking permit in the nearby area can be purchased. There is a smart TV in the living room. Guests must use their own login to use streaming services.
