KAIWA NO SATO This old house is an indigo mansion built in the first year of the Bunsei era (1804) during the heyday of indigo. The main house and the sleeping area (a barn where indigo was stored) have been demolished due to aging, but the historic living room and garden have been preserved to allow guests to experience a little bit of that time, and it is used as a farmhouse inn. In the old days, "Indigofera" grew on the fertile land of the Yoshino River basin in Tokushima Prefecture, bringing great wealth to Tokushima Prefecture (Awa Province). Ancient documents on indigo, including cultural properties, are also available for viewing. Enjoy the charm of that era and Indigofera. ＝＝＝＝ Feel free to pick and eat seasonal fruits and vegetables from the adjacent fields. * Please enjoy as many figs as you like in summer and autumn. Guest House Sanbon Matsu Port is an old private house with a view of the fishing port from the 2nd floor room, limited to one group per day. ☆ When you enter the entrance, a retro yet vibrantly colored space spreads out, and the soft texture of the indirect lighting and Ryukyu tatami mats will soothe your travel fatigue. ☆ There is an authentic "roofed food stall" in the kitchen, and if you light the lantern, it will create a nostalgic atmosphere. * Turn off the downlights on the kitchen ceiling to enjoy a more nostalgic space. ☆ Within a 1-minute walk, there is a bar called "Aun" with a wide variety of local dishes, and about a 3-minute walk away, there is "Ebisuya", the only bone-in chicken shop in Higashi-Kagawa City. (Ebisuya has take-out) ☆ About 2-3 minutes on foot to the fishing spot port! (A fishing tackle shop is within a 1-minute walk.) ☆ Guests coming by motorcycle, please use the garage with a shutter. As a theft prevention measure, you can lock your bike with a chain to the stainless steel pipe embedded in the dirt floor (3-4 bikes can be parked). The kitchen, bath and toilet are modern and functional, and Wi-Fi is also available. ▶ The guest house faces a lush garden where you can fully enjoy the beauty of the four seasons in Japan. ▶ Check-in time is from 3 pm to 7 pm. The host will guide you to the guest house. If you arrive after 7 pm, please check in by yourself. In that case, the entrance to the guest house will be open and the key will be left in a predetermined place in the guest house. ▶ Guests arriving by car should enter the premises and park in front of the white car stop in the space on the right. ▶ After check-in, please enter the names, addresses, and contact information of all guests in the guest register. ▶ We do not charge accommodation fees for children under 2 years old (futons, towels, etc. are not provided). The landlord lives nearby and can help you with anything you. Shower booth, toilet with washlet, and kitchenette. We also have terrace seating in the garden. The Yoshino district is about a 7-minute drive from Ikeda Port, where the ferry to Takamatsu departs. It is a quiet and small village with old-fashioned scenery of Setouchi, moderately far from the city. It is a 10-second walk to Yoshino Beach right in front of the house. If the weather is good, you can see the sunset all year round. Why not spend some time watching the sunset from the pier that stretches out to the sea?
