Chalet holiday rentals in Hochkar

We wanted a quiet , secluded place to relax and detox - and got it with this great cabin. The cabin is min. 150 years old, but has everything you need to live. Cozy beds, warm water, an oven heater and even recently electric light from a solar system, but no more. No electricity, no cell phone reception - but lots of peace and wood for chopping - wonderful. We arrived in the middle of the night with decent snow and minus degrees, so the heating and the first night was a challenge. The oven is also suitable for baking rolls, which tasted excellent. Thanks to the host for putting away our seven hours delay without any problems. Clear recommendation.

The house as described Great location, amazing views. The ski resort is very small, as there is also little snow . The slopes at the hotel were snowy, so the ski school could take place. The other elevator didn't work. You can drive to the neighboring Lachtal. Otherwise, everything is small and clear, especially for children who are good for skiers for the first time. In the village you can buy the essentials, very expensive! Better to bring everything. There was no cabin, you were on / on the slopes as parents and watched.

Very satisfied again as last year. The house was a bit smaller this time but wonderful for 2 people. There's nothing wrong with it. The house is as shown in the description and pictures. Cleanliness 1a, also included in amenities is everything you need for your everyday needs. Unfortunately, the weather did not play along during our stay. It was thaws all the time, it didn't snow until the departure day. All in all highly recommended, for a winter holiday as a couple or a family.

The house was very nice, and the kitchen quite well equipped. Only the cutlery and cups number was a bit low for larger groups. Somewhat tedious were the hidden costs discovered by reading the description. In any case, the accommodation was worth its price, despite these extra costs, which could easily have been disclosed in the total price. The bedding can optionally be rented at €8 per person. Unfortunately, it was automatically assumed that all people sleep together in double beds instead of providing bedding for the existing beds (e.g. the sofa bed and the bunk bed). Otherwise, the place was great, the photos keep what they promise. There was even a sauna! 😃

Amazing charlet overlooking the mountains. The house was exactly like described; very cleen, plenty of room and a completely equipped kitchen that makes it easy to cook all sorts of meals. Christian is a great host that is very helpfull before and after the visit. Very recommendable.

We stayed at this villa for a few days. The service was great. Friendly, helpful, and always available. The villa was very cozyly decorated and clean. The area is really very beautiful. The kids had fun and the older ones were able to relax well. Unfortunately, the toboggan run or elevator was out of service and there was no other way to climb the hill with the sleds every time. Still, it didn't spoil our mood. Clear recommendation. Thank you very much.

We had wonderful days on the alpine pasture - the house is very cozy, well furnished and we all felt very comfortable. The location with the view of the mountains is super nice - plus the fountain in front of the house with the calming lapping. We took long hikes in the area, visited the beautiful swimming lake in the village and the outdoor swimming pool in the neighborhood, the people in the village were all very welcoming - it was an all-round great time for all of us. The communication in advance, the welcome to the alpine pasture worked out great and we felt very comfortable the whole time. Thank you very much.

Really good location and treatment.

The stay was great. Check-in was very easy and so was the checkout. Have a few small things to complain about, jacuzzi did not work on the 1st day. There was no grill tongs available and there were no dishwasher tabs.. So you often had to drive back to a shop for small things. However, we were helped very quickly with questions and the lady was very nice and helpful. Problems with the Jacuzzi were resolved the next morning. We highly recommend the stay... There are beautiful hikes and nature is breathtaking.

The accommodation is a real insider tip. It is exactly as described. Half a star could be deducted due to the clairaudience (but only within the house, neighbors can't be heard) and for the mattresses that are too soft to our taste. It doesn't have an oven either. The utilities were absolutely fair. For a week we paid €66 for electricity and gas (with generous heating). We will be happy to come back.

We stayed at 39. Nice place at a friendly price, I would appreciate more consumables (toilet paper, dishwasher tablets, drip filters). Individual houses are very close to each other, so it is necessary to count on less privacy. The interior amenities of the bathrooms could use some maintenance (repair of silicones, etc. ) Evelyn took care of us nicely when there was an issue with the lighting and gave us valuable advice on choosing to go home.

Great location and great apartment. Check in/ out was very quick and easy. Contact with host was also quick and friendly.

Loved our stay! The lodge is absolutely pristine and perfect for our needs. We loved having the billiard table and sauna and that all the bedrooms had big comfy beds. The kitchen was really well stocked with utensils and it was easy to cook. The location was perfect for us too, with the slopes behind, the kids had a great time sledging and it was a great base for exploring. A breath taking view out of the windows was the icing on the cake. 5 stars all round.

We had a wonderful time at Judith and Mario's place. The historic chalet is very well maintained, super equipped and in a heavenly location. We were spoiled every morning with a wonderful breakfast that nothing was missing. All organic, and especially the beautiful colorful eggs from the farm's own chickens were great. Everything was lovingly packed and prepared and you can tell that the two do everything with a lot of passion. A special highlight for us was also that we were able to get to know the goats that are lovingly kept in the farm. We would have preferred to spend the whole day in the stable if the sauna had not been called. All in all we had fantastic holidays, and will definitely come back to the little paradise. ❤️

Fantastic mountain house with a beautiful view. Completely private, the entire hillside belongs to the house. The house is equipped with everything, the kitchen was well equipped, and there is also a washing machine, a dishwasher and a sauna. Communication with the owner was easy, we received all information in advance! Dog-friendly place with great hiking opportunities in the area! I can absolutely recommend it, we will definitely come back!

We had a lovely stay at this chalet. We were really surprised by how spacious it was, and we especially appreciated the variety of spaces where everyone could find their space. Everything was clean, the beds were super comfortable and we could not get enough of the view.

We were there for the AirPower event. Unfortunately a little longer away by car, but ideal for overnight and sleeping. Everything is available, some things could be modernized, but that doesn't detract from the feel-good factor.

The place is just gorgeous. We spent a weekend in the house and enjoyed it to the fullest. Everything you need is there and you don't need anything. The sauna with the natural kingdom , as well as the wine cellar were our absolute highlight as well as the beautiful terrace with a fantastic view. The hosts are super friendly accommodating people and were super quick to reach. We will be back, thanks for the wonderful time ☺️
