Holiday rentals with a fire pit in Holmes County

You will not ho wrong with The Dotty Haus! My gal pals & I have stayed here 5 or 6 times now & will be continuing. we come for a girls weekend of shopping, eating, & great time . we love the area & will very returning!

Sandra's place was just as advertised. Very nice property and was neat and clean. Property is located centrally to all Amish communities. We loved our weekend stay and would highly recommend to anyone. Sandra is a great host

I’d give this place a 10 star if I could!!! Our group absolutely LOVED this place for so many reasons!!!!!!! It’s private - but on a main road and so close to many things : restaurants/stores/greenhouses, etc. Our favorite - Village Cafe & Creamery- maybe three minutes away!! We loved sitting on the deck and watching the horses & cows next door / buggies on the road / listening to and watching the birds. My son especially loved the drum set - and we all loved the huge garage with basketball and many activities for the children- a safe&dry space all the time!! Hannah was a terrific host!! Very responsive to all my questions - gave local suggestions and was extremely helpful with everything we needed. We’re already talking about a return trip!! The price is perfect and I hope it stays that way!! It makes this amazing home a possible place to stay anytime. We loved the workmanship of how this home was built- truly incredible staircase!! We’ll definitely be back!!!!!

We loved every minute here! Felt like a luxury hotel with all the plush towels, robes, and linens. We loved having the garage space for storage and play and the location was perfect. Can’t wait to come back!

There’s nothing better than taking a nice relaxing vacation down to the Amish country. this location was in the heart of the Amish country and just minutes away from all of the great places we’ve come to love and enjoy. When we walked in, it was just like the pictures beautiful all three floors laid out nice. my family enjoyed every inch of this house everything clean and pristine right down the street from Walnut Creek Cheese was simply a blessing being able to go grab items from the store and be back at the in no time. Can’t wait to go back and stay here again. Would definitely recommend to all my friends.

Such a great quick weekend getaway with my husband and 6yr old son. Miriam's place was just what we needed to relax. It was a beautiful weather weekend and we got to get good use of the firpit. The views of the sunset where stunning. Everything about the home was inviting and comfortable. I was very impressed on all the extra availability of extra linens and towels. WE LOVED the coffee cake that Miriam made! Such a nice touch! We will definitely be back!

Great place, very quiet. Enjoyed a little snow on Sunday morning April 6. Extra clean home, big TV in basement was great. We will be booking this again when we are able to, maybe this summer. James & Patricia Shehan

We booked this as a moms night off trip and it was everything we could have hoped for. The diffusers, the warm lighting, the colors of the bedrooms, the back porch.. all of it was incredible. Truly so relaxing and peaceful. It’s in a very central location to all of our favorites. I can’t wait to go back and bring my family!

We had another great stay at Carol’s place. The place was very comfortable, nicely decorated and had the most amenities of any place that we have stayed in. You could not asked for better hosts. We will definitely be returning next year.

Jeff's place was great - clean and homey! My parents were so pleased with the accommodations. Their trip was cut short because of severe weather moving in, but they will be back, and they enjoyed the time they had. They also enjoyed eating at some of the restaurants Jeff recommended.

Zachary was super nice and very helpful. Gave very clear and easy instructions. Will definitely be back for another stay!

This charming little place is just as described. Quiet and peaceful, a great place to kick back and relax. Christine is a thoughtful host. She had the place warm and cozy up on arrival. From the toasty fireplace, to the loaf of homemade bread. We definitely recommend the stay.

Very nice accommodations in the beautiful countryside of Holmes County but only a short drive to the attractions. Nicely equipped and immaculately clean and we would definitely return for another stay.

This was our second stay at Deer Trace, and it was everything we remembered and LOVED about the place! To be able to be comfortable and together for another lifetime celebration, we loved every minute of it. Being able to be unconnected from the outside worldly distractions was perfect!

We had a wonderful visit! We were able to relax, and set aside our busy lives for a little while. It was even more special, because one of us is recently post cancer treatment, and now well enough to travel with again. We accidentally locked ourselves out one time, and I left some medicine in a dresser drawer when we left. Ruth responded right away and helped us. We have only good and happy things to say about Mockingbird Lodge!!

A perfect hideaway for the two of us and our furbabies! The bed was very comfortable, the cabin was very clean and we loved the decor. Christiane made us feel so welcome at check in, and provided us with lots of local information. A wonderful café and also a general store with pizza are easily walkable from here. Thank you for a wonderful getaway!

We had a great stay! We were able to bring our dog which was nice. We enjoyed fishing in the pond and sat outside by the fire pit in the evening. The cabin was modern and new. We hope to return again soon!

We had such an amazing stay! We enjoy coming to town quite frequently, and this was our first time staying at Mary’s cabin. I have nothing but excellent things to say, and we will most likely be staying here every single time we come! The hospitality was amazing and everything item we had forgotten was provided. The cleanliness was exceptional as well as the comfort. We cannot wait to come back!

The cabin was absolutely amazing — cozy and full of thoughtful personal touches from the host. It was spotlessly clean and very comfortable. I really appreciated the firewood provided for the fire pit. The instructions were clear, and the host was incredibly responsive and quick to reply. I truly hope to return to this beautiful cabin someday!

What a clean and great space to spend time with our young family. The entire place was squeaky clean, and the countryside views from the kitchen window and front porch were perfect! An excellent house for a weekend away in Amish country.
