Relax with the whole family at this peaceful place to stay. The entire 2nd floor of the house, private garden with terrace outside the red outhouse. The location is one of the sunniest in eastern Norway, with sunshine until around 10 pm in the summer. You walk to the jetty in 2 minutes. Long ground for small and jumping from the bathing jetty for the big ones. Several beaches within walking distance. Play skittles, badminton, boccia or croquet, or enjoy the sun and have a barbecue in the garden. Picking currants, redcurrants, rhubarb and Morello cherries, and watching butterflies. Walking distance to the city center, hiking trails in the countryside, the sports arena Hvitstein stadium, elevator with access to trains, the beach «Dulpen» and the city center with shops, restaurants, wine monopoly etc. Shared entrance with the landlord. Private bathroom, hallway with hangers for outerwear and shoes. One large room with double bed (bedroom 1), simple dining area and mini kitchen. Bedroom 2 has a double bed and a sofa bed for one person. Parking space. Access to patio.

There is a lift in the mountains that goes down to the railway station, from where you can go straight into the city. The small, idyllic house has a long history. This is one of the gatekeeper's apartments on the estate, with a unique view of the sea. The Backer sisters, Harriet and Agathe, grew up on this farm in their time. Harriet was the greatest painter of her time, and Agathe was a well-known pianist.

We rent out our "cabin", which consists of a spacious detached house over 3 floors with a plot of 1.3 acres and views of the sea and Holmestrand. The house is located in sunny and quiet surroundings on Bjerkøya, with nice hiking opportunities and swimming areas nearby. The house is surrounded by a large garden and terrace of about 100 m2 with a secluded "patio" with built-in benches and heating lamp, where you can relax and enjoy life almost year round. We share a jetty with some others on the island, from which you can swim.

Our house is located with a lovely view over Lake Eikern and with a short distance to Bergsvannet which has many nice swimming areas. Eidsfoss is a unique historical place where it feels like time has stood still for a few decades! Here you will find, among other things, Norway's oldest general store, museum and two good restaurants (Eidsfoss Gamle Kro and Eidsfos Hovedgård), as well as several small galleries and outlets. But most of all, you should come here to find peace and quiet and enjoy the beautiful nature here!

A gem with a view and direct access to the beach. Newly renovated outbuilding with kitchen/living room, large bedroom with doors leading directly to a large terrace with outdoor kitchen and barbecue. Walk down through the garden to the beach for a swim, go kayaking, play a round of boccia or take a walk along the coastal path. 10 minutes by bike to Holmsbu with a grocery store, restaurants and shops. Beautiful sunsets all year round! Perfect for a couple or two friends.
