The house is 20 minutes West of Harrisonburg VA and JMU.

Wineries, orchards, and hiking nearby. Friendly dogs may occasionally visit from my mother’s house next door. Multiple outdoor areas to enjoy the sights and sounds of the creek include the back porch, observation deck with Adirondack chairs, and walking path that leads to a stunning view of the Potts Creek “Sinks.” Enjoy the tranquil natural environment as you make use of the outdoor grill, picnic area, fire pit, and hot tub.

Mitchelltown Apartments-Stay and Vacation

The apartment has a living space featuring a couch and tv for relaxing after a long day of hiking nearby trails and a desk for tidying up some loose ends (wifi included) before your big meeting. 1 queen, 1 full bed. Enjoy your stay here with all the amenities of home as this apartment has a full kitchen and bath along with a washer and dryer combo. Within walking distance to some of Virginia's best outdoor activities. Gym access available upon request. Two night minimum stay required.

Little Cabin in the Woods is quiet and secluded!

Enjoy our rustic, cozy, historic log cabin in the woods on 21 acres with two streams and a little meadow. The logs, from the 1800's, were reconfigured 17 years ago combining a rich history with high speed internet and modern amenities. Sink into the luscious bed with totally organic sheets, mattress topper, and pillows. Take a walk on the original wagon train road down to a stream or bath your senses in the majestic view of Jump Mountain from the meadow.
