The Boathouse

The Boathouse is a bright, yet cosy little retreat to spend some time relaxing! Here at the boathouse you will be spoilt with the stunning views looking onto the Loch where you will frequently see the delightful wildlife. Situated in the heart of Daliburgh, you will find all essential amenities nearby. The local shop and pub/restaurant are all within a couple of minutes walking distance. Not to mention the famous old Tom Morris golf course is 2 miles from the property, where you will find a lovely little clubhouse to enjoy some food or beverages. Our boathouse is perfect for couples, tastefully decorated with a nautical theme throughout. You will find everything you need at our property and should you require any special requests, birthday celebrations, engagement, etc then we will be more than happy to help.

We are a small family run business - Baleshare Bothies - consisting of two cosy, self-catering, glamping pods. This listing is for our pod called Hiort, which is dog friendly. We are situated in the peaceful crofting community of Baleshare, North Uist in the Outer Hebrides, and located a short walk from the shore of Baleshare Beach, where there are breath-taking views. Each pod is hired out separately, however you are welcome to book the two pods at the same time depending on availability.
