Set in the traquil surroundings of Lower Nill Farm this wooden cabin has glorious views across the Cotswolds with all the amenities to make your stay a relaxing break away from hectic life. Lower Nill Farm is just a short distance from the historical village of Hook Norton. Hook Norton is famous throughout the world for its brewery which has been making beer since 1849. Lower Nill Farm is also located on the historic D'arcy Dalton way which spans the length of the county of Oxfordshire.
“This stay really made our trip to the Cotswalds. It’s a bit outside of the Cotswalds, but if you have a car, it’s easy to get around. You can tell a lot of attention went into making this the perfect farmhouse. One bed is a pull-out couch but the duvets they provide are lovely and it’s nice to sleep by the fireplace and see the view out the windows. We really loved the fireplace and the wood/fire starting materials made it easy. The kitchen is lovely for cooking with all the utensils you need. We brought milk but didn’t need to, as they provided some. The hosts greet you and come by if needed. This rural stay outside of the Cotswalds was everything we needed for a weekend getaway from London!”
The Garden Flat is a new extension to our converted stone barn in Oxfordshire, outside Hook Norton on the edge of The Cotswolds. Attractively & tastefully furnished it is accessed through double doors and is on one level. Small kitchenette area with 2 ring hob, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, microwave, toaster & kettle - no oven; double bedroom with king size bed & en-suite shower/bathroom. There's a gas BBQ on the private patio with views across the valley.
“This is a beautiful rental. Warm, quiet and very comfortable. The setting is fabulous just above the pretty village of Hook Norton. You will leave feeling refreshed and rested. Highly recommended.”
Spring Farm is a working farm in a peaceful rural location with cattle, horses and chickens in the fields around the farmhouse. It is perfect for a countryside getaway with some lovely walks & cycle rides from the farm (see how to hire bikes below). Feel free to wander round the farm and meet the animals. Spring Farm is less than 3 miles from Soho Farmhouse and there are many superb pubs and restaurants nearby. We would recommend The Boxing Hare, Swerford and The Falkland Arms, Great Tew.
“We had a wonderful stay at Spring Farm. The annexe is really comfortable, had everything you could need for a very happy stay and was lovely and clean. Pauline was a very friendly and helpful host and communication was brilliant from the start. It is perfectly located to explore the Cotswolds. The accommodation is on a farm and is very peaceful. There are several beautiful horses and two of the friendliest dogs who often came to say hello. As big dog lovers this made the stay even more lovely! We wouldn't hesitate to recommend Spring Farm to anyone visiting the Cotswolds.”
