Cabin holiday rentals in Hordaland

Knut was a wonderful host and his airbnb was beautiful and relaxing. He gave us detailed instructions to find our way to the house and when the hot tub was having technical difficulties he was immediately responsive and had a repair man come to fix it. The bathroom floors are heated and the bed was so cozy--We would definitely recommend this airbnb to anyone visiting.

We were a group of 6 friends who had a wonderful weekend at the cabin. Wonderful hosts who were very helpful and accommodating. Recommend the place to everyone❤️❤️❤️

A special highlight was definitely the hot tub – just awesome! Relaxing there after a day in the impressive nature of Norway was priceless. We had a fantastic stay at this little gem of a cabin. Ann and her husband were incredibly welcoming and full of great recommendations for things to do in the area. The cabin itself was cosy, well-equipped, and waiting for us with a warm fire when we arrived—a perfect touch after a long journey. The huskies were a delight! We loved giving them attention, and despite their excitement during the day, they were surprisingly quiet from the cabin at night. We booked the dog sledding experience, and it was absolutely unforgettable—thrilling, well-organised, and a must-do for anyone visiting. Overall, an amazing place to stay, with kind hosts and a truly special experience. Highly recommend!

The place was in a wonderful and peaceful area which was accessible easily by car! The cabin is really clean and has all we could ask for a weekend trip with friends! Sunniva was really easy to communicate and we will be definitely going back on another opportunity ☺️

Again a lovely weekend stay at this beautiful property. We have been here before and have really enjoyed. Lovely surroundings. Cozy house with everything needed. Tidy and clean. Plenty of towels and bed linen. Very nice with a wood-fired hot tub. We enjoyed the sea and bathed both in the sea and in the stomp. Fishing off the dock, and kayaked. We will definitely come again and would highly recommend the place. Thank you for this time.

This cabin is a real gem nestled in a corner of paradise. Accessible in only 10 minutes on foot from the parking lot, the path to this is perfectly marked. The kitchen, fully equipped, offers all the essentials to prepare delicious dishes or desserts. Comfortable, the cabin also has a TV, wifi, and much more.

We had a wonderful time in Norway and especially in Theresa’s cabin. Everything from the arrival to the departure was clear and simple. Theresa was very polite and helped us in every way when we had questions. We really recommande her ! If you want to disconnect from everything and be connected to nature, we recommend you this place. We have had a wonderful mini winter holiday in this cozy log cabin! There we had everything we needed. Well-equipped, tidy and clean. With beautiful nature on all sides, mountain forest, rivers and lake. Hens roaming around the yard, cows, cozy play area outside. We had a pleasant and quiet stay here and would love to come again! Highly recommended. Kristin is a helpful and accommodating host.☺️

Åge s place was perfect for our 3 night-stay. The location is awesome, far from everything and surrounded by beautiful nature. It has all you need there and the solar powered battery was more than enough for our stay. We can highly recommend this place. Åge responded fast and helpful.

We had a wonderful stay at the cottage which was very cozy and had a great view of the lake with great sunrise/ sun. You have plenty of space and everything necessary on site! The communication with Bjørg was great too!

A small piece of jewelry. We felt totally comfortable when we arrived, which was also due to the fact that a fire was already prepared in the fireplace. It is very cozy and everything you need is there that you need. The view of the fjord is wonderful...there is always something to see and you can take great pictures. For hiking and bathing, you have to drive about 10-15 minutes, but fishing on site by boat is good. We also used the boat to go to the small island of Sild. Otherwise, as always, the communication with Laila was great and we can highly recommend the accommodation and will definitely come back.

A perfect place for a event with colleagues who want to get to know better! There were 15 of us and had plenty of room!

The cabin is a great place both for couples and families. Its a gorgeous place and extremely privat since you only can get there by ferry. You can recognize (positively) that it is also used privately and it has a lot of good equipment and "smart" features. We really enjoyed our stay and will definitely book the cabin again.

It was a very nice stay. Hall and Johanna were very nice, always replied super fast and gave plenty of directions. The cabin is cosy and well equipped :)

What a special place tucked in the middle of the island! A great little hike to get into the cabin, and the cabin itself, situated up on a little ledge overlooking the bog and river lands is such a fun place to stay. Very comfortable inside between the fireplace, simple solar setup, deck, and you can tell Knut's recommendations come from a love of the place and area. Thank you Knut, wish we had time to explore more of your recommendations.

Loved staying at this typical norwegian cabin. Beautiful area and well equipped with lots of firewood, cooking equipment, blankets, candles and a lot more.

The scenery and the cross-country skiing were perfect. 10/10

Like everyone said in this evaluation: if we had known how great this place was, we would have stayed a bit longer. The accommodations are basic but exactly as described in the ad. The views by contrary can’t be described. Simply stunning! And the Trine was so helpful in fetching us some wine and untangling the fishing line 🎣
