From here you can explore famous places such as Geiranger and Olden (approx. 2h), Loen with Skylift (1.5h), the bird island Runde, Øye (1h) and the Jugendbyen Ålesund (1.5h). Mountain trips on foot and on skis to Slogen, Saudehornet, Liadalsnipa, Molladalen and Melshornet (you can walk from the cabin). Close to several alpine and cross-country ski slopes.

On the edge of a "jøl" (a type of riverbank), created by the river's thousand-year effort to reach the fjord, the cabin partially floats in the terrain. Situated completely by itself without close neighbors, but overlooking the cultural landscape and village, this is a perfect place for both relaxation and activity.

The small boat harbor is a 5-minute walk away. Ørsta is known for its beautiful mountains that are suitable for both hiking and skiing. Free parking. The bus station is 5 minutes away.
