Cosy farmhouse near ski slopes and Romme Alpin

We have renovated our farmhouse with knowledge of building maintenance, the environment and sustainability. The beautiful colours of egg oil tempera adorn the walls and genuine linseed oil paint is a matter of course in a house from the late 19th century. Nice tiled stoves heat nicely and the kitchen is large and spacious In winter, there are great conditions for cross-country and downhill skiing at Romme Alpin. An approximately 8 km long skating rink is plowed on our lake with a connection approximately 100 metres from the farm. The house is located near the towns of Falun and Borlänge.

Enjoy the tranquility in a genuine village setting in southern Dalarna. Here, nature is close by. Hike in Säterdalens ravine system, bike or go skiing. Romme Alpin can be reached in 20 minutes by car. Trästaden Säter is 7 km and to Borlänge about 20 km. The apartment has an open plan with sleeping alcove. Kitchen area with bar table. The price includes towels, firewood and final cleaning. If you stay 3 days or more, bed linen is also included. (For 1-2 nights, bed linen can be rented for SEK 100/person) You can park outside the door.

Room with kitchenette, 25 square meters. Bathroom with shower. One double bed (120 cm wide) and sofa bed for 2 people. The accommodation is maximized for 2 adults, but there is also room for 2 small children. Kitchenette equipped with hob, fridge, microwave, kettle, coffee maker. TV and Wifi. Towels and bed linen are included. You will also have access to the laundry room located in the main building. We will charge a cleaning fee of SEK 200 for bed linen, etc. However, we expect you to do a fine cleaning before you check out.

Welcome to our charming guest house located by Tunaån in Borlänge, where the city meets Tunaslätten. The bus goes all the way! It is a perfect starting point for excursions in Dalarna, and in winter, Romme Alpin is 13 minutes away. If you like cross-country skiing, Gyllbergen offers low-mountain-like nature. Around the home, you can take a walk/run in Smäcken or Frostbrunnsdalen, explore the springs, take a ride on the river, or a swim, or visit the ostriches a bike ride away. Electric car charging is available.

Rent our pool house! Newly built "apartment" of about 25 sqm with spacious hall, bathroom with laundry facilities and room with kitchen, sofa and 160 cm bed. Bedlinen and towels are included, you do not need to bring your own. Parking directly outside included. You can store your skis or bikes in locked space if you wish. About 800 meters to Lugnet's outdoor area with cross-country tracks, bathhouses, bike trails and the university Dalarna. 3 minutes drive to the city center and grocery stores.

Nature, Activities, and Relaxation – All Year at Ulfsbo Located by Lake Ulvsjön and near Romme Alpin, Ulfsbo is perfect for both relaxation and outdoor adventure. Swim, fish, or take the boat out on the lake. The surrounding forest is great for hiking, biking, and picking berries or mushrooms. In winter, Romme Alpin offers 31 slopes and 13 lifts for all levels. When the lake freezes, it’s perfect for skating, skiing, or long walks. For cross-country skiing, visit scenic trails of Gyllbergen.

I detta nyrenoverade hus anno 1700-talet hittar ni en varm och mysig atmosfär med vackra nejder i Byn Hovgården. Gångavstånd till bad, sjöar och slingriga stigar som väntar på att bli utforskade. Med bil når ni Romme Alpin eller Borlänge Centrum på 12 minuter. Även många andra vackra sevärdheter och naturreservat finns i närheten som till ex. Gyllbergen, Turistvägen Silverringen. Möjlighet att hyra cyklar, kanot, kayak och vedeldad bastu finns. Och vi delar gärna våra favorit platser med er:)

Relax in this waterfront cabin on your own private peninsula in the beautiful Dalarna region. Enjoy the 200° water views and spend the days swimming or fishing from the private jetty with 2 kayaks available for use. Pick berries or mushrooms in the nearby forest or walk on beautiful trails. Cuddle up next to the fireplace and enjoy the sunset before bed. In the winter, experience the white landscape, walk or ski on the frozen lake. Alpine or cross-country skiing in close driving proximity.

Own small cozy house in Borlänge

A small amazing cozy house that is well planned with kitchen, bathroom and loft where the bed is located. Proximity to all Borlänge/Falun/Dalarna has to offer, with slalom in Romme Alpin in the winter, the natural paradise Gyllbergen winter/summer and falu mine etc. NOTE: Bedding and towels are included, but you will have to make the bed before departure. The cottage needs to be cleaned before departure. You are welcome to ask questions and we are happy to help with tips for your stay!

Cottage in genuine Dalaby. Close to nice swimming lake with sandy beach (3 km) and 20 km to popular Romme Alpin. At sufficient snowfall there are cross-country ski tracks nearby. You will also find good shopping in Kupolen Borlänge only 18km away. Wood for the fireplace is in place. During spring, summer and autumn there is the deep Solvarbo Gorge 100 meters from the house, which provides a nice nature experience. In Säter there is also a golf course in nice nature by the lake Ljustern.

Cozy guest house with sauna

Welcome to the historic area of Bergslagsbyn, centrally located in Borlänge. The house has an equipped kitchen, comfortable sofa bed and dining area, a bedroom and sauna for pleasant moments after a day outdoors. It is 2 km to both the dome and Borlänge city centre. Romme alpine can be reached in 20 minutes. The accommodation works for up to four people when using the sofa bed. We, as hosts, live on the farm in the larger residential house and are close at hand if you need anything.

A peaceful hideaway in a unique tiny house. Located i the heart of Dalarna. A place to recharge your batteries and start your day with a swim in the creek located just a few meters from the house. Sauna and own pier located next to the house. Read in the hammock, or pack your quick lunch and go canoeing/trekking. Later on come back for a steamy hot sauna and prepare your dinner on an open fire.
