It's a 15–20-minute drive to Høvringen in Rondane National Park. Excellent hiking trails, as well as an extensive network of cross-country ski runs in winter.

New cabin with high standards in quiet surroundings. Located at the end of a cabin field with no transit traffic, it's just as good for families as it is for the group of friends. There is a car road all the way up to the cabin throughout the year, and good parking. This is a perfect starting point for trips in Jotunheimen and the surrounding mountain areas. In winter, there is a cross country trail just behind the cabin, and you can go on an alpine ski just outside the cabin door and run to the ski resort. The cabin is beautifully located also for hunting, fishing and total relaxation.

Høvringen has a shop with an inn located about 700 m from the cabin. There is a daily bus service to Otta. The mountain area has established a network of trails in summer and winter, with access to Rondane National Park.
