Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Hualien

Margaret and her co-host were extremely welcoming to us and met us at the bus stop upon arrival. The room itself was perfect—an idyllic place to relax, read and star gaze. There were fresh flowers in every room which was a lovely touch. The hosts even helped us to put on a clothes wash. Breakfast was awesome—every day they had different options with a home cooked feel. The restaurant opposite was perfect for lunch and dinner, and there were several other restaurants up the hill with many local delicacies. We loved our time here so much and would recommend it to everybody! Thank you Margaret.

I stayed here as a solo female traveler. Fantastic place to stay- couldn’t have felt more at peace around the birds, fish, and mountains. I will say there were two hiccups- my lack of anticipation of not having Uber and not having a Taiwanese phone number; also I forgot to return the key cards! Chandler was extremely flexible with both of these situations, picking me up from the train station and picking up the keycards from me at the train station before I departed. I also loved the morning baths I took here. Highly recommend!

We absolutely loved our stay at Nancys and Louis place! It’s sparkling clean, the view is amazing and the best of all was Nancys and Louis hospitality. We enjoyed the garden, huge kitchen (perfectly equipped) and spacious room. Thank you very much for hosting us

Such a great place to relax! Best to have a car or scooter or to just be lazy enjoying the view. Very lovely owners!
