Holiday rentals with an accessible-height bed in Hudson River

This was our first experience using Airbnb and it was excellent. Gina, our host, made the stay extremely welcoming. She’s a fantastic host, very easy to get a hold of and has great communication. She even provided breakfast each morning. Her place was exactly as described in the listing. It was very clean and quiet. It was a pleasure staying here. I’ll definitely be staying here again the next time I’m in Wallingford. Thank you, Gina! You deserve more than five stars!

Great place in the heart of the financial district . Hosts are very helpful!

The woodland suite was perfect for our weekend stay! Howard was responsive and accommodating when my plans had changed and was able to update my reservation as needed. The suite looked exactly like the pictures, and there were ample instructions on navigating the area (both for check-in and getting around the resort). The appliances were a mix of vintage for charm and modern for functionality and convenience. There was never a lack of amenities/toiletries either. The only downside, at no fault of the host, is if you happen to have noisy neighbors you'll unfortunately hear everything they do. The building itself seemed to have very thin walls, and paired with ski boots walking around it could get loud. The location though is still great for a ski-in/ski-out proximity

The location and comfort can’t be beat. We stayed at the professor’s flat for a full semester while I was teaching at Yale and it was perfect for a couple and a cat. We even had a couple of friends visit and stay over comfortably during that time. We truly lived in the place like it was our home, because it felt like it: it was cozy, and despite a smaller kitchen than we’re used to, it was well equipped, and we were able to cook a lot and even host dinner parties. It’s very conveniently located to everything in New Haven/the East Rock neighborhood & we walked everywhere. Also very convenient to the freeway. A parking spot was included in our rent as well. Remy, Hilary and Sal were always responsive and ready to take care of anything that needed attention. Remy also gave us and all the tenants extras like baked goods, and samples of her great Italian cooking on occasion (around the holidays). They also gave us fire logs for the fireplace we used our entire last month in town.

We had the most fantastic time! Florence’s place was perfect. The living room was so comfortable and inviting, with everything we needed for our stay. We were very happy. There were gorgeous views of the lake.

Our stay at Barry and Alisha’s place was absolutely amazing! The house is spacious, beautiful, and full of character, with thoughtful details that made it truly special—especially the room with the hidden entry, which was such a fun touch. The property itself is incredible, with the biggest lot we’ve ever seen and private trails that are perfect for relaxing walks. It’s a serene escape from the hustle and bustle of city life, and we left feeling refreshed and recharged. Barry and Alisha were wonderful hosts, and their attention to detail made our stay even better. We had an unforgettable time and would highly recommend staying here to anyone looking for a peaceful retreat. Can’t wait to come back!

Great place with a small private lake and dock. It rained while we stayed so we couldn't take advantage of all the outdoor activities but the place has a lot to offer!

The hosts of red cottage were very responsive and the property was beautiful. Well located in the Berkshires. My friends and I had a lovely stay!

Tracey’s home was newly renovated and wonderfully so. The beds were the among the most comfortable we’ve ever slept in , including nice hotels. The en suite bathroom and shower was nicer than hotel quality. The kitchen was chefs quality which made sense when we found out that Tracey was a restauranteur and runs the local golf club’s restaurant. He kindly made us some cookies upon arrival, but we did not get a chance to eat at his restaurant…which looked great…as did the public golf course. Tracey was a superb host, friendly and always available with good suggestions. Our kids loved playing in the back yard, rolling down the hill. They want to go back to “Mr Tracey’s House” as do we. Danbury was a nice alternative to Hudson valley with fewer tourists, yet still good hikes nearby as well as some good restaurants and a train museum that are kids enjoyed.

Great host and beautiful place to stay! Everything was very organized and clean. Close to town and easily walkable distance to main strip of Old Forge. Was even greeted by some deer every morning! Would love to come back during summer to enjoy the fire pit and river in the backyard.

My family stayed at Thomas' house during a weekend ski trip. The house was perfect for our family's needs. We skied at Okemo and it was a short drive to the mountain. After a long day of skiing, it was nice to come back to a comfortable house to relax. The house we very well stocked to include a drying rack (which we forgot to bring) and a boot dryer. We highly recommend this house for your ski adventure.

Perfect place to stay in East Hampton! The house is large and can comfortably sleep 15. Backyard is great and Warren was quick to respond whenever we wanted to heat the pool. Location is ideal, very close to East Hampton and Amagansett towns. Very clean as well! I would definitely stay here again and would recommend it to anyone

Great stay! Extremely close to the mountain with shuttles all around. 5-10 min drive from all close restaurants as well. Only 2 notes was the fireplace listed does not work as the building doesn’t allow wood burning fire places which was a bit of a bummer. Kitchen was beautiful and fully stocked but I would recommend bringing your own pans if you plan on cooking a lot as the pans currently there are a bit worn down. Other than that, great stay!! Would go back

Yes it was a bit pricey but has great access to the sacham trail Probably 50 steps and you are on the trail House was clean furnitures and beds. In kitchen there were few dirty utensils but we ended up running the diswasher before we used the utensils and glasses. The only negative thing is about the check out time : 10 am is too early. And they didnt give us any extra flexibility or paid additional extra hours even though the house was not being rented out next few days. Just rent it knowing this fact. I hope Vacasa will review this policy on check-out and offer some flexibility ( paid or unpaid)

We had a wonderful stay. The condo had everything we needed and the location was great. It felt fairly private despite being right at the base of the mountain. I would definitely book again!

Great stay if you’re looking for something close to the mountain but still right in town! Walkable to everything on Main Street. The apt was as advertised and easy to access and had everything we needed to enjoy a ski weekend.

An excellent place to stay for a ski trip. Perfect location right at the base. Wonderful building with a great pool and hot tub. Excellent for a great ski vacation!

Great spacious renovated space with nice amenities.

We had a great experience- location of The Founders Lodge is very convenient (5 min walk) to the shops/restaurants. Apartment was clean. Instructions were very clear about check in /where to get keys. Would use them again.

We stayed for two nights and had a great experience overall. The directions provided were clear, and check-in was smooth and hassle-free. The space was clean, comfortable, and exactly as described. The host was incredibly kind and accommodating—when we encountered a minor issue with the bathroom on the last day, they responded promptly, allowed us an extra hour to check out, and were very understanding. We truly appreciated the hospitality and would highly recommend this place to anyone visiting the area.
