Pet-friendly holiday rentals in Huizen

This is our third time staying at Tine’s cottage over the past nearly ten years. It feels like a home away from home. We love Tine and she treats everyone like family. In case you don’t know already, this cottage sits on a quiet street, with its own private parking, entrance, and privacy. It is a very short walk into the backside of Zaanse Schans by the Windmills. You can borrow one of Tine’s many bicycles or simply walk the flat peaceful lanes into the open air park and experience clogs making, cheesemaking, stroopwafels, historic homes and neighborhoods well preserved, shops and gifts, a museum, and the most beautiful intact and functioning windmills you’ll find anywhere in the area - plus much more. It’s only 7-8 minutes to the Zaanse Schans train station and a straight shot in 15 minutes on the train to Centraal Station. Also very easy to get to Keukenhof via train, car, bus, etc. Grocery stores and restaurants close by. Our favorite spot out of all we’ve stayed at in Holland!

A very nice and cozy place!

We had a wonderful stay at the accommodation in Zandvoort. The apartment was exactly as described and in the photos – clean, cozy and very welcoming. We felt comfortable right from the beginning. The location is just perfect – close to the beach, town and yet quiet. Annette was a great host: very friendly, easily accessible and with great tips for the area. We will definitely be happy to come back!

Had a great stay. The house is beautiful with history which we found great. Esther was also very friendly and accommodating. We would stay here again.

A very warm welcome, a quaint cottage with everything we needed on a generous plot that we had access to all of it. Bus stop close by making it easy to visit Gouda and beautiful location. Conchita the host was very friendly but kept away but was easily found with information when we needed it. Karin's cottage is a dream! We felt right at home Sparkling clean, private, quiet and yet central for many things to do with various possibilities. The house is cozy, well equipped and large enough for 3 - 4 people. Karin is incredibly friendly, nice and helpful and easily accessible. We definitely didn't regret booking Karin's cottage - on the contrary: we were very happy about it. We will be happy to come back!

We had amazing time and our stay was perfect! We enjoyed everything what the place offers, the nature, peaceful time, cosy house and beautiful garden where our dog was very happy. Alan was very friendly, helpful and we felt very welcome. We hope we will come to visit again in the future! :)

Nice cottage in the middle of nature. (woods) House was clean and everything present. Spent a few nice days on the Veluwe, cycled a lot and walked, so had beautiful weather!!! Certainly subject to repetition.

We spent Easter and a week vacation in Harmkes and Arjan's cottage. It was just wonderful. Everything was very clean, tidy, cozy, tasteful and well equipped! Our child loved the trampoline and we played a lot of table tennis and badminton. Even Easter eggs could be hidden and searched wonderfully! We could just live in the day, could relax, enjoy the atmosphere in the house and garden and the beautiful area - but we could also make great excursions or go to the restaurant. Our dog was also very happy about the garden and often looked at the fish and wondered what that is! In any case, 😀 we had a very nice time here and will be happy to come back!

A very cozy chalet on the corner of a small holiday park, right on the outskirts of the forest. How beautiful that was, the sun that shone in from the forest through the large, cozy windows at the front. Cozily furnished, many things available such as pepper, salt, coffee, tea. All cutlery, pans, many types of glasses. The beds were good. 2 cozy blankets for the sofa, candles, etc. Lots of towels, tea towels, bath towels etc. Plenty to do in the park for children, a large jumping trampoline, table tennis, table football, playground, etc. Staff were nice! Sandwiches could be ordered at reception before 5 p.m. and next morning pick up from 8:45 am. This is because shop was still closed. TV is very small. Internet via the free Wi-Fi of the chalet worked well!

We spent the Easter weekend here with 6 adults and 3 children. Everything was there No requests for the accommodation remained unfulfilled. For families with small children, it can be said that a playground or the like is not on the property, but this has nothing to do with the house or the hosts. The bike paths around the house are a dream. Thank you for this opportunity to spend such family time.

Dear landlords, we had a wonderful stay with you over Easter. The house was very clean, the amenities very extensive and the location of the cottage simply indescribably located directly on the forest. Everything very quiet. Can highly recommend .

We had a lovely time. When we arrived, we had trouble finding the accommodation, we had the wrong entry, but after finding the right place, with Joke's instructions, we finally found the place. It matched the description given and all the necessities are available on site. very good location, quiet and peaceful. We had an electricity issue and Joke was very responsive to help us. We were not able to have electricity for 2 days but joke helped us find solutions so that we could still live in the accommodation. finally, we managed to put the electricity back on the last night. Despite this issue, we were able to enjoy our stay. We recommend Joke and her home 👍 Thank you 🙂

Beautiful nature nearby, friendly host, clean, perfect for a short getaway

Great hosts overall! Their son helped us check in due to our late arrival and they stopped by the next morning to check on us! Very quick response times, always answered our questions in a timely manner. The space was super cute and very cozy, the owners left us some delicious local snacks and beverages making us feel right at home. We would love to come back and enjoy the beautiful weather Holland has to offer!

Frank's house looks like the photos. We felt very comfortable right away. It is very comfortably furnished. The location is perfect for those seeking tranquility and relaxation and appreciate the proximity to the beach.

Johan is a nice and friendly host. In addition, extremely flexible. The cottage is beautifully located in nature and is easily found. Also many options for following beautiful walking and cycling routes. The bathroom and kitchen are simple which is fine. There is a heater available which contributes to the “forest feeling”. We have completely relaxed.

Very nice place, especially we like that the territory is separated from the street and neighbors. It gives private feeling. Also we used the bicycles provided by Barbara, it was very helpful.

This cottage in the woods near Lunteren is perfect for 8 people. Nice spacious living room. 2 bathrooms and 3 toilets are in it. The kitchen has all the comforts and sufficient service and cutlery. The beautifully screened garden has a seating area, a wood-fired hot tub and a lovely sauna. From the park, you can walk into the woods for a nice walk. All in all a nice location in a nice place. The host is easy to reach and quick to answer your questions.

Fabulous stay at Cottage Paulus What a great experience! The forest cottage "Paulus" is tastefully decorated and is located in a beautiful, quiet place in the middle of nature. Exactly what we needed to completely recharge. We were there with our two dogs, and they too had the time of their lives. The spacious, fully fenced garden was perfect – safe and large enough for endless snooping and scrambling around. Fareen, the hostess, is incredibly friendly and helpful. From the first contact, everything felt familiar and relaxed. She was quick to respond to questions and made us feel very welcome. Highly recommended for anyone who loves peace, nature and an animal-friendly place with character. We will definitely come back!

I had booked this as a little solo birthday getaway with my dog, and wow, we enjoyed it! Beautiful surroundings, with easy access to the hiking trails and a few dining spots (very nice for me without a car). Everyone in the village was super friendly and welcoming. I look forward to coming back in the summer, when everything is beautifully green! Thank you, Eva, for letting us stay in this little piece of paradise.
