Paal 14 is a cozy, comfortable, classy 4-person cottage on a beautiful avenue, within walking distance of the dunes, climbing dune, the village with shops and restaurants. It is a fully independent house with garden with lots of privacy. On the ground floor, there is a cozy living room with pellet stove and a new open kitchen, which is equipped with all comforts. Behind the house is a private garden with terrace. On the second floor are a bathroom, 2 bedrooms with 4 beds and a laundry room with washing machine.

This is a rare opportunity to stay in a traditional Miller's House located on the same property as an authentic 1632 Dutch Windmill. This beautiful cabin offers privacy, nature and canals on both sides, yet is only 1.5 miles (2.4km) from town and a 40 minute train ride to Amsterdam. This cabin was hand built with love & care and it is a pleasure to share it with guests from all around the world. As the Miller of this windmill, I enjoy giving my guests a complimentary tour whenever possible.

In the winter it can be too cold to sit there only with the fireplace. Bathroom has a 2-person bath and a double shower. The bathroom also has a washing machine and dryer. There's a separate toilet and rain shower. There is a private terrace with table and chairs, and you can use the sunny general garden with sunbeds.

A nice and cozy apartment in a quiet area next to the Havenplein in Broek op Langedijk. There are plenty of options for exploring the area. The apartment is within cycling distance of Alkmaar, the train station and recreation area Geestmerambacht.
