Holiday rentals with breakfast in Hunter Region

Gail was a wonderful host. We had one of our best Airbnb experiences. The property is quiet and beautiful in the countryside, which is exactly what we looked for. The kitchen is large and fully equipped, and Gail also supplies breakfast ingredients.

Our stay at Lisa’s Airbnb completely exceeded our expectations. From the moment we arrived, we knew we had found the perfect private retreat to unwind and relax—exactly what we were after. Every detail had been thoughtfully taken care of, making the experience feel not just comfortable, but truly special. The space was fully equipped with everything you could possibly need. The pantry was well-stocked, and the bathroom had all the essentials—perfect for those little things you might forget. It was lush! A small detail, but there’s nothing better than a soft, plush towel after a long day. Lisa even provided spare beach towels. We arrived to fresh bread, milk, and some lovely treats—a warm and generous touch. Breakfast with those beautiful views was such a delight. Lisa was incredibly hospitable, kind, and responsive. We’re so grateful for the experience and wouldn’t hesitate to book again. Highly recommend! Thankyou Lisa!

We had such a wonderful stay at Lynn's place. Everything we needed was there and she even accommodated one of our requests. The breakfast supplied was amazing! The inside space was very cozy and the outside space was peaceful. She was very quick in answering any questions we threw her way. All in all an amazing stay ☺️

A beautiful tranquil place to stay that had everything you needed.. They have thought of everything including breakfast.. there was homemade jam and an apple pie on arrival.. wish I couldve stayed longer but will definately recommend this place and even go back myself.. A very relaxing and quiet stay in a beautiful old country homestead with sensational views of sunsets, rain storms, early morning hot air balloons and the local wildlife, especially from the back verandah. Very convenient to all the main attractions in the Hunter Valley, especially Lovedale. Melissa is a terrific host and the house and location is perfect.

Thanks for the lovely stay and the flexible check in and check out. Most COMFORTABLE beds I’ve had in any accommodation. My son loved the kids room pac man game. Highly recommend. Beautiful fresh breakfast ingredients in the fridge and fruit on the table.

Mary is a wonderful host, helpful and personable. Mary provides breakfast if required and beautiful chocolates on arrival. Her place was spotless, beautifully decorated and had everything we needed. I treated my son and his girlfriend to a weekend getaway, and since it was their first trip to the area, Sue was incredibly helpful with recommendations that made their stay both smooth and enjoyable. The kids had a great time, and the place was exactly as described. If I ever make it to the area myself, I’ll definitely be staying here.

We absolutely loved our stay! The accommodation was spacious, spotlessly clean, and perfectly self-contained with plenty of outdoor space to enjoy. The bed was extremely comfortable, and there was heaps of room to spread out, including great clothes storage. Bob and Gail were perfect hosts—friendly, welcoming, and respectful of our privacy. It was fantastic value for what you get, and we’d definitely come back. Highly recommended!

Lived up to expectations. Check in was easy and was a very comfortable and private space, considering it was a granny flat close to the residence.

Fantastic stay. Great value and we loved the location, perfect spot to get between both fingal and shoal bay. Everything was immaculate, comfortable bedding and spacious bathroom. Would definitely stay again when we are back at the bay.

We had a great stay, it was very peaceful. The farm animals were awesome and Chloe (the cat) & Kramer/PJ (the dogs) were adorable and so friendly got some awesome boots.

Rob’s place is perfect for someone who’s looking for a tranquil and quiet home off-the-grid. If you want to go on an online detox, this is the place to be. There is no reception inside the house but a few steps from it, you could acccess Rob’s wifi if you need it urgently. The surroundings and the whole farm is fantastic, you wake up to kangaroos and hares running around everywhere. My husband even had a run around the property and it was nice. The couple were very helpful to us and gave useful local recommendations on where to go. The interiors of the house made us feel like we were in a different country, we loved the vibe. Recommended as an escape from the hustle and bustle of the city.

Their attention to detail is unparalleled, with every tiny aspect thoughtfully curated to perfection. From the warm hospitality to the beautifully designed space, you can feel the love and care woven into every moment of the experience. The room was incredibly cozy, making it the perfect retreat, and the location couldn’t have been more convenient. To top it all off, the breakfast was absolutely delicious – a true highlight that felt like the icing on the cake. We are already looking forward to our next visit! Great place to stay. Great hosts. Couple of kms out of the centre of Mudgee but nothing is more than 10 minutes away. Breakfast items waiting for me. This included bacon, eggs, bread, butter, jam and marmalade. Nice garden to gaze at and 2 friendly dogs that came to visit whenever I was around. I'd love to stay here again.

Beautiful place with so many details to make you feel right at home. Great local breakkie including farm eggs, local bacon, organic granola, biscuits, milk, spreads, coffee tea and a bottle of wine with chocolates. I love when hosts go the extra mile to make your stay special. Beds very comfy, each room had its own private ensuite bathroom. Surroundings are very peaceful. Only con is that the place has no internet reception. Host advised this in advance, but is worth noting. Great stay!

Staying at the Tumbi Tiny was an absolute delight! Nestled in the serene forests surrounding Newcastle, the location offered a perfect blend of tranquility and adventure. The cabin itself was impeccably clean, well-equipped, and thoughtfully designed to maximize comfort while embracing the natural surroundings. Waking up to the sounds of birds and the rustling of leaves felt truly magical, and the outdoor seating area provided stunning views of the forest. Fiona and Dean were incredibly welcoming, offering detailed recommendations for nearby hiking trails and local attractions. Our children had an amazing time Fiona even let them collect eggs from the chicken coop and provided plenty of games to keep them entertained. We had initially planned to visit the beaches, but staying at the Tumbi Tiny was so wonderful that we didn’t want to go anywhere else! This stay was a refreshing escape from the hustle and bustle of city life, and I would highly recommend it to anyone seeking a
