Please note our base rate is for 2 guests with access to 1 bedroom only (upstairs super king bed). The second bedroom (downstairs queen bed) will be locked. If you require 2 bedrooms for 2 people, please adjust the number of guests to 3 adults (selecting infants/children does not open the room as there is no charge for their stay) We are situated directly next door to Morpeth’s historical River Royal pub which offers a quiet atmosphere mid week and a social evening Fri/Sat (closes at 11pm)

This is a beautiful little self contained bungalow located at the back of my house. You will have everything you need for a comfortable and unique stay in this (EXTREMELY!) light-filled space. All the windows are leadlight and the soaring window at the front (from a 100 year old church in the Hunter Valley) adds to the distinctive charm. You will have your own access. You can park in the driveway or on the street (unrestricted on weekends and after hours. Otherwise its a 2hr limit from 9am-5pm

Our studio is a peaceful, quite centrally located place. Pied-à-terre, located on the historic hospital hill, is a detached self contained flat with a living/bedroom area, with a queen bed and a double fold out sofa bed. It has a kitchenette with microwave, kettle and toaster only. It's at the rear of the property amidst a lovely garden. A quiet escape from the busy downtown of Cessnock only a 10 to 15 minute walk away, and a 8 minute drive to the gateway of the Hunter Valley Vineyards.

Do you need a place to relax and unwind? In a quiet location with a garden outlook? Palm Cottage is located close to the lake and is a great base to explore vineyards, mountains, beaches, the city of Newcastle and so much more. Our charming studio is only 3 meters from the lapping waters edge of Lake Macquarie. Just relax and watch the yachts sail by, magnificent views. It's quite romantic to sit in the moonlight and feel the lake breeze in the evening. Through day you might like to try your luck at a spot of fishing from our jetty or enjoy a stroll down the main street looking through the boutique shops of Toronto 2 minutes away. A row of gourmet cafe/restaurants that face the lake.

My Summerland Home

Fully self contained studio on an absolute waterfront property, separated from the main house and with full access to the waterfront. This freshly renovated studio offers a king size bed , private en-suite, lounge-dining and kitchenette with all you need for a getaway on the shores of Lake Macquarie. Enjoy full use of the waterfront location using our kayaks , paddle boards, fishing gear and deep water jetty. Sundowners , lazy days awaits you.

It is only a 200m walk across Empire Park to the beach and a bit further along to great surf breaks and ocean baths. Walk along the Bather’s Way from Bar Beach to Merewether or up to the ANZAC Memorial Walk and into Newcastle city.
