Forest Lane Guest Quarters

Quiet country setting only 3 miles from Downtown Huntsville, 4.5 miles from SHSU, 1 mile from Walker County Fair . Home is a perfect place to come relax after a long day at work or a day shopping on the square. We are surrounded by trees and deer love to come visit morning and night. The guest quarters are set up like a hotel with a full size fridge, microwave, and coffee pot. The space has its own entrance and guests have the ability to come and go as needed without disturbing homeowners.

‘Haus House’ Studio close to the Lake

‘Haus House’ Studio is a 440 sq ft standing alone bungalow in a very quiet location yet close to all lake activity and great places to eat. The studio has a queen bed, wardrobe, living area, tv and WiFi. It has a kitchenette with a dining table for 2, refrigerator, microwave and coffee maker. The bathroom has a nice marble shower. There is an outdoor seating area for down time and relax. While we live on the property, you have your own privacy, but if you need us we are close by.

Sam’s Cottage

The quaint and charming Sam Houston Cottage provides a front porch view of the historic granite monument sculpted in 1911 by Italian artist Pompeo Coppini to mark the final resting place of Sam Houston. This very special corner house typifies the traditional style and charm of a bygone era yet provides all the modern comforts of home. Nestled next to one of two creeks on the property you can relax on the front porch, take nature walks, swim in Nelson Creek or sit beneath the pines and watch the stars at night from the private hot tub. The cabin is a studio setup with a comfy queen bed. The sun room has a daybed with a floor trundle. Coffee and bottled water provided.

Rooster's Place

Far enough away from the city for a little peace and quiet. This bnb is nestled off the main road but not to far away from everything. It's atop the work shop of Levi Sims which allows a great view from the balcony. It sits on several acres of pasture and wood lands. Great for watching deer and the cattle that are in the pastures. We are looking forward to sharing this clean, comfortable space with our guest.

Bleu Cottage - Adjoins The National Forest!

Bleu Cottage is secluded at the end of a sleepy county road adjoining the National Forest at the Lone Star trail! Enjoy the peaceful outdoors on 43 acres with a 2 acre lake and creek on the property, or hike through the National Forest. Built in the 70’s, our home has been recently renovated and is ready for your escape into the country!
