Just 100 metres to hiking trails, the sea, swimming and fishing, as well as a football pitch and volleyball court nearby.

We rent out our annexe to quiet people who want to visit Skjærhalden, with its charm and beautiful natural surroundings. With close proximity to the sea and Skjærhalden’s facilities, you can enjoy Whales in all their splendour and charm. Thanks to the proximity to the Skjærhalden square, you can stroll down to the hustle and bustle now that the seaside season is starting up again at Easter. The annexe is located on a residential plot, with its own outdoor area and barbecue/outdoor furniture. Suitable for quiet people; no smoking or parties.

Charming cottage in Utgårdskilen

Enjoy lazy summer days in idyllic Utgårdskilen. Utgårdskilen is Hvaler's largest fishing port and also offers several swimming opportunities and a fantastic archipelago landscape. The cabin has lake views and sun from morning to evening, and is very undisturbed. There is a short distance to bathing areas and great outdoor areas with the coastal path on Hvaler right nearby. The cabin has three bedrooms and six beds, kitchen, living room and bathroom. The cabin has no running water and sewage, but cistern water in the kitchen and bathroom.

Explore the surrounding area by water and on foot in the beautiful surroundings. Kayaks, paddleboards (SUP) and rowboats are available for guests. Play volleyball on your own beach, eat out in one of the dining areas, read a book on the jetty or jump from the diving tower and swim a lap. Spend time with your family, relax and enjoy some relaxing days all to yourselves.

Bryggerhuset at Spjærøy, Hvaler

Cosy little holiday home on Spjærøy, Hvaler. Bryggerhuset is part of a former smallholding, and the hosts live in the main house themselves. Here you can enjoy quiet and peaceful days in the garden, or take a walk to the sea. Both Spjærekilen with good bathing opportunities and Kjellvika is within walking distance. Generally good hiking opportunities. Whether you want to enjoy the quiet days or want to explore Hvaler, this is a nice base. Shops approximately 5 km away. We have 7 happy hens that are partly free-range.

Relax with family or friends at this wonderful cabin on Søndre Sandøy. Sunny cabin + annex. Amazing view! The wonderful island of Søndre Sandøy is a 15-minute ferry ride from Skjærhalden. Approximately 20 minutes' walk away, the cabin is beautifully located on the hill of Røveråsen, which offers a fantastic view of the fjord and the strait towards Skjærhalden, Kirkøy and Nordre Sandøy, AND first-class sunlight from morning to evening. In the cabin there are 2 bedrooms with 4 beds, and in the annex there are 4-6 beds.

Cozy 3 bedroom cabin on Spjærøy.

Large living room with open-plan kitchen. Very sunny and sheltered. Parking on the property. Three bedrooms, one with a 180 cm bed, one room with a bunk bed (2 sleeping places) and a room with a 120 cm bed. There is no mains water supply to the cabin. Water is available from a cistern that is filled by rain. Drinking water is available in the cabin. Cinderella incineration toilet. For the children: Trampoline, sandpit, private tree house with slide, zip line. Remember to bring your own bed linen/towels.

Holiday apartment by the lake, Hvaler

From this apartment centrally located on Hvaler, you have immediate proximity to the lake and great archipelago nature. At the marina there are guest places for boats for a fee (guests must check for availability) This is an excellent starting point for paddling, surfing or other water sports activities. Ytre Hvaler National Park, with great hiking areas and coastal trails, is about 1 km away. There is also a small sandy beach 100 m from the house. There is a kiosk, restaurant and marina in the area.

"Bua" in maritime surroundings!

Welcome to "bua" at Hvalstrand jetty! Bua is a cozy cabin located on Hvaler's perhaps most charming marina. Here it is quiet and peaceful while you get a taste of boating. Bua is located in connection with the boat docks, so you can expect to meet people who are vacationing in their boats. There are bathing facilities on site with a bathing staircase at the end of the boat dock. The surroundings consist of a lot of nice nature with forests, trails and mountains. Seaside cabin with a large jetty

The place is perfectly located between Fredrikstad, Halden, the Swedish coast and Vestfold. You can arrive and have a car parked on the property, but if you have a boat then this is a connecting point for so many amazing excursions. You can easily go to Skjærhalden, Søndre or Nordre, Edholmen, Strømstad, Koster, Engelsviken or into Fredrikstad. A short trip can be to visit the different restaurants Hvaler Islands have to offer and a longer trip can be Grebbestad or Tønsberg and others.
