Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt! Die Ferienwohnung ist ein guter Ausgangspunkt um den Norden zu erkunden.

We had a magical time at Sabrina’s cabin! Sabrina was incredibly helpful, kind, and responsive. The cabin was clean, cozy, and had everything we needed as well as close to many sights. We saw the northern lights from the cabin our first night! Unforgettable :) Book it!!!

Fabulous place with breath-taking views of the mountains, short stroll to a peaceful lake, soothing mineral water in the hot tub, and a well-stocked kitchen. We loved our time here and wish we could have stayed longer. Perfect for a 2 or 3 family visit, with toys and books for kids. A great home base for exploring Iceland. Ragnhildur and Astridur are gracious hosts.

Very beautiful house in a very private location. All Information on how to find it were provided so we even found it at night since we arrived there at 3am. We found it to be bigger in real life than it looked in the pictures which was a positive suprise. Especially the living room and the upper floor bedroom.

Die Unterkunft ist perfekt für eine Auszeit zu zweit. Sie ist wunderbar gelgen und von Bäumen umgeben. Der Stellplatz ist groß genug (auch für ein großes Auto) und die Ausstattung der Hütte ist sehr umfangreich (Besteck. Gewürze, Öle gegen Stechmücken, Rolladen an den Fenstern etc.). Die Lage ist perfekt um Ausflügen von Reykjavík bis Snaefellnes zu unternehmen. Wir hatten einen schönen Aufenthalt und haben es sehr genossen.

Wij hebben ontzettend genoten van onze twee nachtjes bij Vilmundur. Wat een paradijs, mooier en leuker dan op de foto's. Lekker ruim, gezellig ingericht, hele fijne buitenruimte. Ook super voor onze dochter van 1,5 jaar. Ons leukste verblijf in IJsland en dan ook nog noorderlicht gezien vanuit de hottub.

Great cabin with a hot tub. Hot tub was super hot but the temperature could be adjusted. Comfortable beds and a BBQ. Would recommend to stay a night in this peaceful location

We stayed with our two adult children for hunting some northern lights. The accommodation was exceptional and exceeded our expectations. A true recommendation if you look for a private, clean, quiet and modern stay with stunning views. Ragnar was always available and a helpful host.

Gudny was an amazing, generous, and kind host. We felt immediately right at home and the home is well stocked with everything you could need as you adventure around Iceland. The location was excellent for our needs and it was quiet with beautiful views. The home was exactly as expected and the hot tub and outdoor shower were excellent! We would 100% stay again and highly recommend staying!!

Nous avons fait une halte d’une nuit dans cette petite cabane qui dispose de tout ce dont on a besoin pour un court séjour. Bon rapport qualité prix.

Das kleine Häuschen ist ein Juwel für Naturliebhaberinnen: Ganz einfaches Hüttchen, alles da, was man braucht. Liegt direkt am Wasser, perfekte Sicht auf Wale Polarlicht, Berge und dann noch baden im beheizten Becken, mehr kann man sich von Island nicht wünschen. Ich würde hier jederzeit wieder herkommen.

Haus war sehr klein, aber alles vorhanden - wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Highlight war das Trampolin für die Kinder. Die Gastgeber waren super freundlich und haben uns Tipps gegeben. Einziger kleiner Minuspunkt war der starke Schwefelgeruch des Warmwassers (stärker, als wir das sonst erlebt haben).

We had a lovely stay at the summer house. We were in a great location to see so many wonderful areas in the northwestern parts of Iceland. The nearby town has everything you need. The house was beautiful and clean. The hot tub was wonderful as were the surroundings. There was a lovely garden and flowers which made it very relaxing. And, unlike many places you will find in I eland, there were many mature trees. Really a wonderful experience. I would recommend it strongly for families with three or fewer children.

What an amazing gem . The location is perfect to explore Iceland . The cabin has everything you need , clean, tidy and spacious . We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves . The hosts were really kind and left us biscuits as well as provide a taste of the local delicacy. The kids had a blast in the snow and the northern lights were spectacular from the cabin.

Við dvöldum í bústaðnum um páskahelgina og vorum afar ánægð með allt. Bústaðurinn var frábær í alla staði — rúmgóður og snyrtilegur, með fullt af plássi fyrir alla fjölskylduna. Það var sérstaklega gott að hafa gestahúsið. Heiti potturinn var dásamlegur – fullkominn eftir göngutúra og til að njóta rólegra kvöldstunda undir stjörnubjörtum himni. Allt var til staðar sem við þurftum, og samskiptin við eigandann voru mjög góð og greið. Við myndum klárlega koma aftur og mælum eindregið með þessum bústað!

Quiet and peaceful summer house next to a sweet horse farm. Very comfortable beds and homey atmosphere. Green grass as far as the eye can see. I wish I were there right now!

Our stay at this charming cottage in Borgarbyggð was absolutely perfect! The house had all the essentials. It felt like a true home away from home. The cottage itself was beautiful and peaceful, providing a serene escape after our days exploring West Iceland. Its location was ideal as a base for our adventures, allowing us to easily visit all the stunning sights in the region. We particularly appreciated the tranquility of the surroundings; it was so quiet and relaxing. The host was also very responsive. We highly recommend this cottage to anyone looking for a peaceful and well-equipped place to stay while exploring West Iceland. We'd love to return someday!

Prachtige cottages met de nodige voorzieningen. Een heerlijke hottub. Mooi uitzicht. Vriendelijke host

Hoe fijn is het dat je op reis ‘thuiskomt’?! In de accommodatie van Heiðrún is het precies dat!! Ruim, schoon, van alle gemakken voorzien, zoals een uitgebreide keuken, wasmachine, lekkere douche, uitstekende en gezellige zitkamer en prachtige buitenruimte. Aanvullend is dit een geheel privé en vrijgelaten huisje. Ik voelde me alleen op de wereld: exact waar we naar op zoek waren. En dan tot slot die jacuzzi… heerlijk! Met temperaturen rond het vriespunt in een 40-graden bad genieten… en met een beetje geluk: het noorderlicht ✳️ Nogmaals dank!!

Super feine Unterkunft, tolle Betten, sehr schöner Ausblick ! Wir kommen wieder!
