Seating areas around the house offer different beautiful views Morning sunrise, shaded south seating; but sunny in winter! Lunch/ dinner table west facing shaded by old pear tree. Dark starry nights, moonlit or Milky Way, silent or animal sounds! Village life is a 10min meadow walk. In summer a cosy traditional bar/cafe serves home-cooked food.

Eco cabin offers you complete exclusiveness in the nature. There is no electricity - solar and akku lights, eco toilete and solarshower (outside). It has gas and wood stove. Rain water-for washing and showering. Water for cooking, electricity, laundry, warm shower, toilet and sauna are at the main property . It is a great place to relax and observe wildlife (deer), to ski (Cerkno), hike, bike (e-mtb for rent), visit Soča valley,... It is not accessible by vehicle - 5 min walk from parking.

The new cabin is situated at a pacefull location the end of the willage Črni vrh (Black pick). The unspoilt nature away the city bustle but still close the willage conjures up a unique experience. Here you can enjoy the peace quite and fresh air. But you can also explore the surroundings, ride, bike, hiking and ski in the winter time at the local ski center Bor. Črni vrh located in the middle of betwen Ljubljana, Idrija (UNESCO heritage), Vipava, Ajdovščina in Nova gorica. (ONLY ONE PET)

House On The Hill

House On The Hill is situated on Idrijske Krnice plateau (1000 m a.s.l.), 12 km away from the old mining town of Idrija UNESCO. The idylic house is surounded with concrete bunkers (one with a sauna place* and second with selected wines) built by Italian army. Carefully selected interior, with close attention to local, natural materials and hand made furniture, creates a welcoming athmosphere. The house is perfect for anyone who enjoys peace and nature, loves hiking, cycling or fly fishing.

We found inspiration in the legendary Bulli van, a charming vehicle symbolizing freedom, friendship, and the desire to explore the world. We want to offer this spirit of simplicity and comfort to our guests as well. Short description: Apartment on the 1st floor, for 4 persons, near the river Idrijca, with terrace overlooking the river. There is a nearby fishing spot ~ 50m (subject to fishing license). I offer two free parking spots below the apartment with option of EV charging station.
